The latest juicy rumour to go along with the transfer rumour is that Forcier will be dropped to 3rd on the depth chart behind Robinson and Gardner.
I think that it was Darius Fleming
Indeed it was. He overpursued and all Forcier had to do was cut upfield.
As I recall Shaqisgod under a previous alias made like a Frenchman and ran up the white flag before haltime in that game. (He's hoisted the white flag on so many a game day as soon as ND was down by 7 that's it hard to keep track.)
ClausentoFloyd, which I promptly changed after last season to ShaqEvansIsGod to spread the word of the new deity of wide receivers (but also because there was no Clausen).
I'd say most games. After Michigan, halftime of Michigan State, halftime of Navy, fourth quarter of Navy, fourth quarter against Pitt, fourth quarter against Connecticut (Allen fumbled and Connecticut missed a field goal at the end of regulation). That's six. Probably more that I cannot remember. Most game threads, it went like this...
Notre Dame gives up a touchdown, goes three and out...
Me: Game over!
Wabash: WE HAVE TIME!
Fourth quarter, down by two touchdowns...
Me: Game over!
Wabash: WE HAVE TIME!
Score a touchdown, down by 7...
Me: We won't get a stop! GAME OVER!
Wabash: WE HAVE TIIIIIIIIME!
Tie the game up...
Me: They'll score before the game is out! GAME OVER!
Wabash: WE HAVE TIIIIIIIIME!
Take the lead...
Me: They'll go for two and win!
Wabash: We have time.
It was mainly me throwing out expletives right and left following the Michigan loss. Halftime against Michigan State (with Clausen's and Floyd's health in doubt), it was to the tune of, "This season is over! We're done for! Fire Weis!"
I'm incredibly optimistic heading into each season and usually prematurely give up around the first couple of games (lately we either lose to Michigan, Michigan State...or both). Then I get optimistic again until loss #2 (usually USC if an odd year). Then I declare the season over, watch the games...and prepare for the next season.
