1.) Beer--- SamAdams (any type, I switch it around) Seirra Nevada, any of the Cali Micro Brews... along those lines
2.) Tea... big tea guy... if I'm not drinking beer it's some kind of iced or hot tea
3.) Kool Aide (no really)

Food? Big cook so I change it up a lot... but here's some standards

1.) Nachos... best food in the world is Nachos covered in green sauce, jalapenos, Carne Asada, Jack Cheeses, tamatos, lettuce, literally the more toppings the better.
2.) Burgers... I BBQ a lot and my burger recipe is money
3.) Chips and Salsa, again homemade...

Usually start with a good beer:
- Surly Furious or Summit Extra Pale (if any left from my last trip to Minnesota)
- Boulevard Single Wide IPA (always in the house)
- Boulevard Pale

Eventually there's a taper:
- Miller High Life Light

To eat...Chips and Salsa

We're usually entertaining 15-18 people each week at our house for games. It varies so I'll give it a shot.

Drinks: For the ladies who are relegated to the Upstairs area are served soft drinks, Mai Tai's and Blue Hawaiians and margaritas. They're usually with all of the kids and are the DD's so they never get too carried away. :)

For the Boys Down In The HCTIrish Cave: Usually Bud Light as the drinking swill, but on each touchdown or field goal, everyone does a shot of some type of Whiskey with a Guinness chaser.

Food: The usual I suppose. Chicken/Beef Nachos with all the fixin's... Italian Sausage w/ peppers and onions... Baby Back Ribs... Homemade Pulled Pork Subs... Corn on the Cob....Slaw.... Pizza and fried chicken... Always gotta have our weekly selection of wings... amongst many other things. My wife is always happy when the season is over and we don't have to "entertain" anymore. :)

Actually, unless tailgating, I really only drink during night games. My favorite place is in front of my 42" plasma, with the game cranked up in surround sound with no one to bother me. And logged on to IE with the netbook to read everyones thoughts on the game. That said, beer for tailgating, vodka for night games.

I am a HUGE Guinness fan! It is nectar of the gods, in my opinion. However, these guys have taken it to the next level. I - MUST - HAVE - THIS!!! DEEP FRIED BEER!!! Just the fact that I can put those words in a sentence and not just be describing some wonderful dream is unbelievable.

ridiculous!! i gotta have that recipe! the chicken fried bacon sounds good too!

man this country is full of a bunch of fat arses!!

gameday its gotta be pregame guinness, touchdown shots, and whatever is cold to fill the time between TD's.

"Umm, yes...I'd like the chicken fried bacon with extra mayonaise for dipping. An order of fried beer, and a fried twinkie for desert."

I normally have some kind of tailgating like thing going on at my house with beerpong and cornhole, so the beer is cheap and plentiful (also how I like my women, thanks I'll be here all night).

chips n' dip of some kind, burgers or any other dead animal that can be kissed by the flames of my grill.

and the nectar of the gods Sweet Tea, god I love that stuff.

Not too cheap right? If you get beast, I don't know what to say. Maybe natty light, PBR, or the high life.

Bud light is my definition of cheap beer, I go no lower.

I'd drink a Guiness twice (if you get what I'm saying) before I drink a bud light or coors... but that's just me... I'm sure it'd probably taste better that way.

;)
