Pretty sure Councell is from NC, but I digress. More to your point about Elston, Rabasa apparently has never talked to Kelly until he called to give his commitment which speaks volumes about Elston.

I have to agree fully with what Craig Haubert said. Justice Hayes is a great pickup but with what are needs are right now..... Rabasa is a HUGE pick-up. I feel really great about where our defense is headed for the future.

Here is a kid for whom we should throw away the recruiting services star rankings. The game tape I saw was not that of a 3 star player. He is very athletic and gets to the ball in a hurry and finishes once he gets there. Also committing the day after he picked up his ND offer says he REALLY wants to be here. Gotta like that.

I like Rabasa's first step as well and he seems alot taller in his film to me but there is something i did not like and i can'y quite put my finger on it. Maybe i need to see more film

That is an awesome video. I saw the same one and it gets me very excited to see what hes going to do for us. The kid has a motor that is non stop and an amazing first step.

They really like this kid. They seem to actually be looking at him compared to other sites.

I expect Anthony to move substantially up in the recruiting ladder.

There is a guy over on DD who is close family friends with Rabasa. He started a thread about him committing a couple hours before it was actually official, and always goes to his games. He seems to be the real deal in terms of a connection. He said whenever he talks to scouts at games they've all but assured him that Rabasa will be getting his 4th star. Kid should be a stud.

Just an update from his game (which is on ESPNU) Miami Northwestern got down near the goal line, Rabasa made the 2nd and 3rd down tackles to force a 4th down. Which as a team they held and forced a turnover on downs.

He is looking pretty good so far, he also was in on offense as a TE to help block.

My bad, can you just give me a leave of absence. I swear i have an excuse, it's that as I was attempting to PM you, the fire alarm went off, so i ran outside screaming. Then the neighbors dog started barking. So all the neighbors looked outside in confusion. Then I had remember i set my ringtone as a fire alarm so i could hear it better. so i ran back inside to finish the PM just to realize my pet giraffe had my laptop in his mouth and i couldn't get to it until now.
