ESPN Gameday at ND?

Any chance of Kirk, Lee, and the Gameday Crew coming to South Bend this year? I was thinking maybe of ND vs Utah if were doing well, or maybe Pitt. Do you think ESPN is "coming to our city" this year?

Pitt goes by the board losing their opener to the Utes. If Utah beats TCU the week before the ND game it would be a match up of two 9-0 teams, #6 Utah v #15 Notre Dame (Spurrier hasn't cast a vote for The Irish all season).

GameDay shows up in South Bend opening the show with the question, "Should Notre Dame be ranked in the Top 25 just because they're undefeated?"

The only time Gameday was there was the Bush Push game, right?

I was in basic training for it and I asked my drill sergeants if ND won, and I was met with the laughing response of, "No Private, USC scored on the last play, it was a great game, you should have seen it. Now do push-ups."

I would presume there is a bigger game than ND-scUM on 9/11? That would be the one IMO. An important game for both programs and relevant to the culture of cfb. If they are going to South Bend, I'm sure they would prefer to do it early........

They were at the ND-Pitt game in 2005 at Pittsburgh... And since Corso picked them to go 1-5, I'm sure he didn't pick our boys to win that day.

Penn State @ Alabama is that week.

I've been wanting Gameday to come to South Bend, it's been a while since they have.

They may go to the ND-U$C game, even though it isn't at home. The only other big game that day is Ohio State-Michigan, and they didn't do that one last year. Plus it'll probably be a blowout.

I had no voice left to yell at the tv that game cause the night earlier I played and won a rivalry game for my alma mater. I remember ND stuff if they correlate to my high school career.

I agree. This is the one game i would want to see the crew at. But unfortunetly i dont think this is the season they will show up in south bend.

Didn't he pick the Irish and put the head gear on when gameday did the Airforce game in Utah in the snow. That was Ty's first year coaching.

Then the next week gameday went down to FSU for the ND game. Battle scored that long TD on the first drive and we stomped them! Good times those two weeks.

Also, remember guys gameday was invented for the game between #1 FSU and #2 ND in Southbend. That was the best and biggest win I've seen the Irish have.
