I think it is about where I would put them right now. It gives them the ability to get to the top if they were to go undefeated and it makes us not be overrated at all.

Didn't read the article...but given we sustained some serious losses on the O side, and we are in new schemes on both sides of the ball...I'd say that was a really reasonable ranking.

talent wise it's too low... in terms of how this team has played the past three years it's too high...


bottom line I could not care less about preseason marks anymore... prove something.

I honestly thought it was just right . Alot questions will be answered early though. Purdue and Michigan will answer ALot of questions . Michigan is true test to see where we are though. I would love to be the straw that broke the michigans back.

If our defense can stop Michigan's offense, we'll win by multiple scores. That Michigan secondary is going to be bad on an epic scale.

As I've said a million times before, three of the four secondaries we start off against suck, and another (Michigan State) was dead last in the Big 10 in pass defense in 2009. If Dayne is struggling early on, he can really get a confidence boost with the first four games before we head into a tough two game stretch against BC and Pitt.

that is a really big if though... everyone is dogging UM's D on this site... okay... here's a mirror... seriously, Tate DESTROYED us last year to such a degree I do not see how any 19, 20 year old kid would be conident going into this years game until they build on some in game stops against him... would not suprise me one bit to see a complete swiss cheese of a game again...

i could care less what our ranking is. we need to prove worthiness on the field and i hope we do so with big numbers.

Too high of a ranking. We SHOULD be right around 40-45. We have proved NOTHING as of yet, we have a new quarterback who with the spread attack is vulnerable and we have a wafer thin d line with no experience at all. I'm still saying 7-5 or 8-4 if things go good.

though on a basis of talent and star rankings... man this team should have done better the past two years... time will tell.
