so USC homer Pat Hayden is stepping down to become the AD, who is going to replace him in the booth? Better yet, who do YOU want to replace him?

OJ SIMPSON.... He could play the part of Nordberg...and not himself...the cold blooded murderer

It won't be someone with Notre Dame ties. That was the whole idea behind Haden.

That said, I'd take Beuerlein.

Pinkett, Brooks or Beuerlein are all solid picks. And LOL at Winnebego man. he'd give a whole new meaning to color commentator. I would have LOVED to get Tony Roberts in that booth. I miss his voice

I hated Haden. ok, he knew football, played it, and played it pretty well...but does everyone forget where he played? We had an analyst from USC doing our games for the past "too many" years. It makes me sick that someone from USC was doing color...it's like a guy from Michigan being beside Paul Keels on Buckeye radio (and it's Jim Lachey, former all american lineman from OSU, which is how it should be). Did anyone like Haden...really?

I can't stand the play by play guy either...looks like a clown. That being said, I like the Aaron Taylor idea, or even Theisman.

There is a thread on Michigan board MGoBlog titled, "Garrett out at USC, Hammond to rule with an iron fist". Within is a hilarious picture of Hammond that creeps me out.
