No offense intended to Subway Alumni everywhere. My point was that there are several imposters trolling around, and this poster may well be one of them. i am very suspicious of those who would so cavalierly throw away our traditions.
You have got to be kidding me, are you seriously going to call me a troll because I used the word "they"...
I used "they" to represent those who are directly involved in the deliberations of Notre Dame joining the Big-10.
Unless you are a part of Notre Dame's athletic board, you are not a "we".... You are not going to influence Jack Swarbrick in anyway.
I'm not an alumni, but I'm a die hard fan that rather DIE than see Notre Dame fall out the national spot light, because they decided they don't need to join a conference, causing them to not a respectable schedule....
You may very well be an Alumni, and I congratulate you on that... But this is not the Notre Dame of old...
Lou Holtz has been gone for 14 years.
Knute Rockne passed away 79 years ago.
It's time for an all new Era in Notre Dame, and I'm not talking about the "Brian Kelly Era"...
I'm talking about the "Notre Dame Big-10 Era".... An era where we may very well lose rivalries including USC and even Navy... BUT in this ERA new rivalries may form. Schools like Ohio St can be Notre Dames new "USC".
It's time to change.
Notre Dame football has had a great history...
Now its time for Notre Dame to have a great future!
