Dude, it's Saturday in May. In Los Angeles, it's 80 degrees and sunny. In every other part of the nation, people have been couped up for months on end, and now they are enjoying the better weather. And oh yeah...IT'S MAY. There won't be football for another 3 and a half months. There's only so many different ways to talk about how great ND is LOL.
I was about to post that the responses were kinda cold to a newbie, and I was going to say 'welcome aboard', but dude, your response was just as bad.
Chill...they were just messin' with you; if someone knows the answer you'll get it.

The interlocking ND was introduced by Holtz in 1986. It was much smaller than it would become towards the end of the century, but was relatively the same for over a decade:
White with gold outline at home & Blue with gold outline on the road...matching the numbers of course.
The only time I can think of when they weren't on the jersey during the Holtz/Davie/Willingham tenures was in the bowl game against Oregon State near the end of Davie's tenure. If you remember, we had shamrocks with the ND in the middle on the sleeves to rock with our white jerseys.
Now, it looks like the interlocking ND is back...which I'm happy about. If the pictures from the BG game are in fact the new jersey, it is the same as before, except bigger and possibly in a slightly different font.
There are some other interesting things on the jersey though!!
