I saw the new pants on some of the players, and I understand this doesn't necessarily mean we are making a change, but has anyone heard the reports/rumors that we are sporting different Unis next season?

We better not that would be changing tradition and Notre Dame doesnt do that we are nd we are tradition

What are the rumors you've been hearing? I know we have different pants, jerseys, and helmets used in practice but I haven't heard that these would be carried over into gameday gear.

Don't worry, every coach puts his own twist on the UNIS...it is never a major change.... Normally it is ... interlocking ND on the sleeves vs Numbers.... ETC...

The Rumors are from Uniwatch.com just say they recently had a Uniform raffle of some kind. The report said something about changing the sleeve numbers for ND, and the ND on the front being changed a little...the pants have the gold stripes crossing....

I have always liked the simple look of the number on the sleeve more than the ND logo. It'll look a little weird at first tho......Ehh I'll live.

I wasn't a fan of the gold stripe on the white jerseys during Willinghams era.... come to think of it, other than the First 8 games ...I wasn't fond of anything in that ERA....

It didn't work for me. I noticed the gold swirly crossing stripes on the back of some of the pants. I think either one of the highlight videos or NDOM's pics captured it clearly.

yeah I keep seeing these horrid pants but nothing of the ND... anyway I never thought I'd see the day when ND went the Oregon Ducks route and tried to ugly up the uni

Notre Dame would not resort to wearing a different uniform every change of possession.

I can live with the shirt. But the pants, I would say drop them, but I don't want anyone to get the wrong idea.:joke:
