I think he goes to UF or F$U. Not that big of a reach on my opinion though. Like you said NDinLA, he'll be in the state of FL.

Yeah, I was at a buddy's house, and he subscribes to one of USC's paysites, and I read there that he eliminated SC because of the distance away from home...

NCAA football recruit is hoping to play running back in college - ESPN
By JC Shurburtt
ESPN Recruiting

4/18
Athlete James Wilder II (Tampa, Fla./Plant) was the top overall prospect at the event and impressed as usual in drills and one-on-ones. The 6-foot-2, 220-pounder said in an interview after the event that he still wants to play running back in college, even though many believe that linebacker is his best position. "Those that say that just drive me to work even harder and prove them wrong," Wilder said. Georgia Tech, Michigan State and Notre Dame recently joined Alabama and others in recruiting him as a running back, he said. Wilder is focusing on spring football practice, which is just around the corner, and is getting ready to take some unofficial visits in the summer. Schools may not receive much notice as to when Wilder will show.
"I like to go on unofficial visits and just call coaches up and ask if it is OK if I show up at a certain time," Wilder said. "On the official visit, I know that everything is going to be perfect. That's why I like to take unofficial visits, because then you get to find out how things really are."

Probably only in the game this long because we are recruiting him at running back. Big athlete that wants to run it, a la Anthony Barr.

Most people think it's down to FL, Georgia, and FSU. My money is on FSU, with Georgia #2.

Unless UF told Wilder that he can play RB there, he's going to FSU according to my source.

Congrats to FSU. He was recruited as a RB, but will be told that he will have to switch to linebacker if he wants immediate play time according to Gene.
