Tory Jackson is 5'11 195!!! their might be 3 guards in the NBA at that size. He has D-Lague written all over him, probably Europe.

The game started here at 4 and I didn't get ho9me until 6, so I missed the game. But it's great to come home to that win!!! Well done Irish. Gotta give props to Brey who I have been very critical of. 3 wins in a row without your all-american is very impressive...

Glad to see you're seeing the light- He IS a good coach. i get angry he catches so much grief. I cant beleive what he has done without a Harangody-less team. I was hoping he would sit out one more game so UCONN would have a better chance to win. 2-3 zone was an amazing call against UCONN. Mark my words- Watch out for ND- Brey could hold him out til March Madness and they could make a serious run in the tourney. Healthy, rested 'Gody equals straight cash homey like randy moss. Good guard play (Jackson and Hansborough) good shooter (Abrooo as you all like to say) pound inside ('Gody and a little of Nash) sounds like the right combo. Big east touney champs?

I think from now on I'm just gonna keep my fat mouth SHUT!!!!! I predicted they would go 0-6/1-5 their last 6 games. Can someone explain to me though how and why they are playing like this NOW instead of BEFORE? Why cant they play like this all year?

If someone before the game would have told me that the Irish were going to win WITHOUT Gody and Hansbrough not hitting a single FG, I would have laughed in their face. What a WIN! IMO, one or more wins in the Big East tournament SHOULD be enough for them to make the NCAA tournament, regardless of what happens @ Marguette on Sat.

i just think hes got the hustle to play in the nba, didnt say he would, i just gave an opinion. i also think abro could be a decent pro if he got better defensively.
do they have negatives? sure, but i am just giving my thoughts.

As critical as I have been of Brey, he deserves a ton of credit for what he has done the last two weeks. This group is a good ball handling team that understands the importance of making the extra pass. The more patient approach maximizes this strength. I hate to say it, but the "Patrick Ewing Theory" applies here. Without Gody they are sooooo much more efficient on the offensive end.
The other guy that isn't getting enough dap is Carleton Scott. He is so active on the interior. Plays huge on the defensive end and actually has good range shooting the J. He and Nash might become a pretty good tandem in the post.

He even called timeouts at the right time it seemed.....maybe he is better when he doesn't have 1 stud and they all are listening or he can put someone else in?
The good thing about Hansbrough is (imo) that when he is not on he finds other ways to help the team and doesn't just shoot till he gets hot. I believe him and Carleton Scott are a big reason why we are doing so well. It sure is fun to watch some of his athletic ability.
