Okay, I am not a comic book type guy... but I'll say this, growing up I loved Ironman, only fantasy thing outside of starwars I was ever into...

I went and saw the movie today and man I really liked it... first comic book movie other than the first X Men I could actually see myself sitting down and watching again and I might actually pay money to go se it in theaters a second time

It was really good

anyone else with me on this or am I just a closet Tony Strak fan and it's starting to show???

Glad you chimed in about this one. I've been wanting to know if this is a good movie or not.

The only reason I ever read any was because my brother was pretty big into comic books when he was growing up so I'd read some of his.

That why I go in objective watching these movies. I thought Ironman was great. The new Batman with Heath Ledger looks creepy.

I have only heard great things about Ironman. I havent seen a lot of the X-Man movies, just bits and pieces, but i hear that is pretty decent. I am a fan of the new Superman Returns movie, i am pretty sure i bought it within a week of it coming out on DVD. The new Batman series has been and looks to continue to be good. I was never into comics when i was younger, i dont mind the movies at all though.

I read thousands of comics in my youth, but rarely read Iron Man.

I loved the movie. RD Jr NAILED IT. It was worth the $9

Damn, 9 bucks? I must be old....matinee $6.50. I haven't seen it yet, but I'm glad the reviews from real people are good. I know it's PG13, but would you let your 8 year old watch it?

I'm going with my son who is 9

He should be fine. It's only PG-13 because of violence I believe.

There is absolutely no nudity. And I don't remember profanity, but I don't really think about that much...so I could be wrong.

Yeah the only moment that made me think about the little one was the the heavy kissing between him and the reporter then it cut to the next morning...

the violence could have been a lot worse thankfully
