Did anybody else see his presser at SC? What a mess! Some highlights:

* He started off by saying he was going to run a clean program LOL (you know you've fuc*ed up in the past when the very first thing you say is that you;re gonna be a good boy).

* He bragged about 'having only one arrest' while at Tennessee. Ummm, actually 3 arrests in the same incident. And you were only there a year...I'm sure there were more coming. He also had a player cited for shoplifting.

* He is a horrible public speaker! Stopping and starting, stuttering a bit, swaying, etc. He spoke for maybe a few minutes then asked for questions. I remember hearing the Rick Nueheisal (sp) presser a couple years back and being unbelievably impressed with him. Same with Kelly's presser, which had me beyond pumped. I got that same feeling with Kiffin....only the EXACT opposite.

* A local writer and known smartass, TJ Simers, was hammering him repeatedly on his hasty exit from Tennessee. Kiffy had no real response, so Simers kept at it. "I don't know if that's accurate" when asked if Orgeron was calling Tennessee EEs and telling them not to register and come to SC. What a joke! Old Garrett had to jump in and save him LOL.

* Said leaving Tenn was the toughest decision he ever had to make, then 2 minutes later called his decision to leave a 'no-brainer'.

This guy can recruit like no other, but man, he's a scumbag, a douche, a POS and a horrible public speaker to boot...

trust, faith, integrity, doing whats right - all of these concepts have very little room in college football today.

The sole object is to win now, period. Lie, cheat, and steal if you have to.

If USC avoids any sanctions, I might be done with college football, at least as a 'full time fan'. I mean, I guess I have heard for years that college football is very corrupt and full of hypocracy, but to actually know that it is corrupted and full of hypocracy will be too much for me. USC has done wrong, there must be consequences for it. if not, then there is no reason for Notre Dame, or any other team to abid by any NCAA rules.

Why watch a sport where some schools/teams can cheat their asses off and there be no reprocussions? The answer is not to in-turn cheat, because if everyone is cheating, why watch?

This is also how I feel, when all this first started with petey I was curiuos, hopeful etc that he was leaving because of sanctions. Now I'm wondering if they arent going to get off with little or no penalties. Add to that this guy throwing it in the faces of the NCAA by saying he now wants to run clean program and doesnt need to draw interest to southern cal because they are southern cal. This stuff would be hard to make up- you'd think it was a joke. As TDHEYSUS implied when do the good guys get rewarded for doing it right or is college football just a $$$$ sham.

Personally, I've heard much bashing of Kelly. If they dislike how Kelly handled himself, they should be typing copious ammounts of *%$# about this frickin' guy. A "turn-coat" self-preserving waste of space. I at least had respect for Carroll.

Is it also true that when asked about whether Orgeron had contacted any UT supposed EE's as reported and he stated the "I don't know if thats accurate" line...ORGERON WAS SITTING THERE IN THE ROOM WITH THEM ALL?

Kelly did what he had to do because of the rules set out by the NCAA. Otherwise ND loses a recruiting cycle. Had Cincy gone to the NC game I firmly believe he would not be the head coach at ND right now, and I think he has even said that.

As for Kiffin... What more needs to be said really. Al Davis and his fungus encrusted brain called him out and he was right. Tennessee is going to be in shambles for years to come.
