I came here because your allowed to disagree with the moderators. Goldhelmet is run by some serious cry babies and they are in a constant circle jerk with each other. I had seen on here people are allow to disagree on things and still be a member so thats why I'm here.

Years ago they would kick you off for even being slightly critical, it was Saddams Iraq here. Now they dont kick you off but you better not be critical of Weis or youre written off as "hating" him.

Its koolaide a lot of times here but way better than the past and the ESPN ND board is just a waste of time with the driveby idiots.

Phork seems to care more about Michigan than he does about Notre Dame. I highly doubt Michigan is going to be the dominant program in the country from 2010 onward, Phork.

I'm a "born again" Charlie supporter. I loved Charlie for most of the first four years of his being here. I must admit, I wanted Charlie fired after the Syracuse debacle last season (not to mention after the Michigan game through the Purdue game), but now that I've seen just how hard Jimmy Clausen and the Irish are playing for him, I think he's the man.

in the Pullman, Washington area first drew me to this board.

I had to laugh when no one responded to my first post with a "WE'RE HERE!"

It seems that the Southeast part of Washington is lacking in ND supporters.

As for Irish Envy, I like how the boards keep up on ND topics, especially

recruitment. Everyone has differing views and attitudes, but most people at

heart seem to genuinely care about the program.

Another good site for ND sports is Notre Dame Football, Basketball, & Recruiting - UHND.com, but the forums are

WAAYYY better organized here.

I did enjoy the Walmart Wolverine snipe, thats a classic. I never said Michigan wouldn't lose another game, but they will beat ND.

NDnation has good information but that place is just depressing to read sometimes. GH is ok but I just enjoy this place much more than other boards. Sometimes someone throws a fit here but I believe its because they are so passionate about the program.

I guess what sticks out in my mind is that people say things in frustration but for the most part apologize after some time to reflect. There are always a few hot headed people anywhere but like I said for the most part this board is the most enjoyable for me.

No need to "start things up." We are all ND fans. I am a "member" of both, and there is quality on both. I simply prefer this site because the graphics are easier on the eye, and we have BigIF, NDinLA, NDMontana, dishhands, GoIrish!!! DiveRightIn, IrishAddiction, No1Irishfan, JefMaj, tankjeep, jason, CTF (twice polarized), tko, johnnykilz, kmoose, jonesman, JPham, Steve...
