ya just saw that. dont think it was obvious enough to call but the floyd shove after the play was easily.

I notice on mgoblog they were also discussing the Cissoko push of Floyd, and how they were yelling at the TV screens knowing a flag was just about to fly in... Then there wasn't a flag.

Pretty sad when their own fans can see it.

Does anyone have video of Floyd getting shoved? I would love to see it. I was at the game and I wasn't aware of Olsen getting punched or Floyd getting shoved.

if the allen unsportsmanlike goes uncalled, i have no problem with the floyd shove also going uncalled, but pretty much to justify calling a taunting call like allen's and not the cissoko shove

The thing with Tate getting held is that it happens every game. I don't know if they can call every single one but if it is happening through out the game it needs to be called.

I definately think there should be some plays reviewed by the big 10 but you could probably see these happening every game.

I don't believe in cheap shots nor would I want people to do it. With that being said, sometimes you have to get into peoples head. Knock the QB down when you get a chance (don't lead with the head or have the intent on hurting anyone). Rattle them a bit and see if you can take advantage of it.

The pushing down of Floyd should have been called but I don't really find anything to seriously wrong with that one. The punch on the other hand was uncalled for and the Big 10 should suspend this player for at least half a game.

Well I think the mistake Charlie is making here is that its like Day 4 from the game and he is still harping on it? Nothing will change the out come of the game. Watch the game, send in the tape and hope some heads roll and move on to the next opponent.
After MSUs stunning loss this week they have kind of circled the wagons over there (Believe me I know I get all the Detroit media where I live) and have quietly been preparing for ND.
Meanwhile ND is still going on about the officials. Its one thing for us fans to dwell on it, because it cost ND a price, but the coaches need to do what they have to do to help the players move on and get on to MSU.
Who ND hasn't beaten at home since like forever ago.

CW in a presser said he was sending a film montage to the Big Ten of ND players being punched during the game. It will be intresting to see if they do anything about it.

I dont think CW expects anything to 'get done' about it. I think he wants to raise awareness...the thought being that we will not have to keep going thru this. also, if it keeps happening, he can refer back to these shenanigans. not that anything will ever be done..

I can't say that I saw anything definitive on THAT play. Maybe a tighter shot would help. Maybe new new prescription for my bifocals.

Yep, just watched it on the S.I. website. That's (2) cheap shots our Irish took on the field that day and nothing from the refs. Supposedly Weis sent a tape to the Big Ten Officials of all the horrendous\missed calls last Sat. A quick heads up to everyone, all sites outside of this one, is still a bunch of childish moron haters. If you say anthing in ND's defense your a whiner, sore loser, and should be shot in the head. In other words "ENVY".
