I wrote this in another thread, but I thought it needed it's own thread. Mods, feel free to erase if you think it's redundant.
For those of you who don't follow recruiting, let me tell you what a true ass-hat this clown Meyer really is (this is common knowledge for many of you):
1. He told Jevon Snead, a highly touted QB now at Ole Miss, that he was the only QB he would recruit. Snead committed to FL, his favorite school, and couldn't be more excited. Then he saw the OTL special on ESPN about Tim Tebow, and he saw Urban Liar and another FL coach in the stands, and his heart skipped a beat. He was shocked. He called his h.s. coach, and they decided to confront Liar. Liar told them that they were recruiting Tebow as a LB. The h.s. coach laughed at that, knowing what complete B.S. that was, and they decommitted from FL.
2. Our very own Ian Williams was recruited by FL early in the process, and he was excited to go there. In fact, for 6 months he was telling his friends and family that he was heavily leaning towards FL. Then the love from FL suddenly stopped, as FL started getting love from higher ranked players. He finally texted FL, and they told him that they were getting too full and couldn't take any more commits at that time. Two days later, a D-linemen from CA committed to FL. Williams was crushed, understandably.
3. From yardbarker.com:
They were about to take the recruit, and when they couldn't get him they squealed like bitches (and snitches).
4. This from a Michigan site on the recruitment of Daryl Stonum:
5. Urban Liar had Justin Trattou, an ND commit, lie to everyone about his recruitment. Trattou told everyone he wasn't talking to anyone, even though he was going to FL all along. Liar and coach Mattison, a former ND coach as well who used to profess his love for ND, ripped ND for its weather and social life. It was a shock to everyone when Trattou signed with FL.
6. Omar Hunter, another ND 'lock', got the same deal as Trattou, with a twist. Hunter even lied to his entire family, esp his dad, who wanted Omar to go to ND for the education. The worst part was that when Hunter heard rumors that his position coach was going to the NFL, Liar lied to his face and said the coach was staying. ND coaches warned Hunter about it, but he wouldn't listen, and he committed to FL. Right after NSD, of course, the coach took off to the NFL.
7. FL and Liar are notorious for negative recruiting tactics. NOTORIOUS. I can't even go through the list of recruits who have claimed that FL coaches do that. Many are turned off, but tomany it puts doubts in their heads. Just ask Riggs! Why do you think Liar came out and said he wouldn't ever go to ND? Because coaches are doing the same thing to him what he does to them.
So you can see why many ND fans, despite Liar's winning ways, would never want that scumbag on campus. I used to be about the W's too, still am actually, but to a point. After hearing from a h.s. coach that many high school coaches can't stand the guy, I read up on Liar. I too, would never want that ass-hat on our beautiful campus. He's scum, he trashes ND every chance he gets, he already turned us down once, and we don't need to lower ourselves to that d-bag.

3. From yardbarker.com:
Florida was ready to take all-star corner Patrick Johnson with what they thought was a bogus test score, but he committed to LSU. How did Florida respond? "Florida flagged my scores," Johnson said. "They called the compliance office." "I'm not upset," Johnson said. "Florida made an issue about the ACT score. They're cowards. They had to go behind my back.
They were about to take the recruit, and when they couldn't get him they squealed like bitches (and snitches).
4. This from a Michigan site on the recruitment of Daryl Stonum:
The University of Florida stayed on the four star pass-catcher well all the way through. Things crescendoed recently after a conversation with Urban Meyer. According to Stonum, Meyer had a compelling reason why he should become a Gator. "He told me that he talked to Coach Carr and Coach Soup and that they told him that I would be a much better fit in the Florida offense than I would be in the one at Michigan," Stonum recalled. "I thought, wow, my coaches are selling me out? I confronted them about it. I asked Coach Carr and Coach Soup about it, and they said they never talked to that guy and that there was no way they ever said anything like that and that they think I should be a Wolverine. I believed them. Right then, I knew just how Florida rolled."
