OSU boards reporting that Matt has eliminated OSU or that the OSU staff has backed off, not sure which came first... probably the former. In any case, look for a commitment to ND soon.

On a side note, it seems like Hurst has eliminated ND. Would be a fair trade if we got Hurst instead.

Hendrix told Rivals that the Cincinatti area used to be a huge pipeline to Notre Dame, and he wants to help bring that back and is willing to talk to recruits like Matt James. I like QBs convincing O-linemen to come protect them for four years.

Just read up on him. He told both Irish Sports Daily and Bucknuts that all 3 (ND, OSU and Cinci) are dead even right now, and that he's putting off his recruiting until his football season starts again. He'll be taking official visits and therefore won't be announcing soon like he said. He'll be at USC-OSU, and he can't remember which ND game he'll be attending (his schedule only permits one). He can go to any Cinci home game b/c of his location. He's genuinely torn between the 3 schools...
