who cares about all-spring teams? all I care about is post-season fall awards. and hopefully the same is true for the players. no respect... fine. that slap hurts? so hit em back. do something about it and force them to give you respect. it's time to change that.

I agree entirely but this list is about the best springgame performances. Its not a spring all-American so i'm not surprised nor bothered that no one is on the list

All of these bs rankings mean nothing. Wins are what matter. I'm tired of seeing people complain about the lack of respect shown to ND, Jimmy, the secondary, or whomever.

You know why we don't get any respect? Its because our teams been absolute garbage the last two years. In fact ND has barely been relevant at all in the past decade. ND won't get any respect until it starts winning again.

Nope. While I agree that we probably have the best tandem, in Tate and Floyd, I don't think either one of those guys, individually, is in the Top 5 receivers in the country.............yet!

Statwise that's going to be hard to achieve.

Floyd, Tate, Rudolph, Ragone and only one football.

If these guys stay healthy they will probably be the best ND receiving corps. But unfortunately for them unlike Texas Tech, and others, Charlie is not going to be throwing the ball with a lead like they do. Nor are the starters going to be playing. Charlie's not going to be putting up 70 points per game.

I like sportsmanship but for the past two years this team hasn't been deep enough nor consistent for to ease off with a 10 point lead. This team (and coach) have to develop a feel for the jugular. They don't have to learn how to slash it but they do need to learn how to apply pressure and reduce the flow.

I completely agree, and until we can prove we can run the clock down effectively with a power running game, we need to keep applying that pressure. Too many times we have blown a lead...I hope that changes this year.

I'm all for running 50+ up people if we can do it. This removes all doubt as to whether or not we deserve anything. People are still under this weird notion that just because we are ND we get an automatic BCS slot with a 9-3 season.

The computer polls may not recognize margin of victory anymore but the human pollsters still do. If ND was tied with Clemson one week in the the polls and the next week ND beat Michigan State by 2 TDs while Clemson was beating up on Furman by 4 TDs, ND would lose ground in the Coaches Poll.

Let's just win all our games this year.......then next year we can graduate to running the score up on people. In the past, you would never see huge scores by Notre Dame teams, because the competition was there......Unlike Nebraska football scores where they beat the tar out of people like Southern Cinncinatti 84-14 @ home.......Those huskers have the easiest schedule!

I don't see how you can say we don't have the top pass cathers in the country but can say we have the best tandem... kind of picking at straws there imo

I don't think so............a baseball team can have a top flight team batting average, without having a single player in the Top Ten. But make no mistake, I think they both are on their ways to being two of the best, individually.

baseball one sport... nine guys...

football completely different... we are talking about five guys TOPS... mainly three guys... again in a completely different game


obviously we disagree and that's cool, but I still don't see how, when talking about three to five guys, you can say we have to best tandum but definately not the best unit... I would ask this... if it's so obvious... who has a clearly better group....

Hmm. Tate and Floyd are enough to be THE best receiving corps in the nation. Maybe not 2009, but in 2010 the two of them could both be in the top 5 at their position.

that's without even breathing on our TE's and running backs... IDK I just think that's the one area of the team that is elite RIGHT NOW
