For the new question... down four on the five...
I'd stack the line. Take out Kamara, take out Tate. Go big with Rudy, Fauria, and Ragone. Split Floyd out wide. With that size, we can get one pound the middle of the field. We knock it in from five yards out... great. If not, USC can either call a TO or we let time run down and go no huddle. Thus, both options are good for us.
So, this is what I would do. I'd put Hughes in the backfield and tell him to grab some sack. Run to the right side behind Winger, TRob and Sam Young. They are your money guys... go for the dive. We get stuffed, no-huddle and we'll pass the ball. We gain 2-4, that opens it up for another give, a sneak, or a little play action.
So, 3rd down = run. Stuffed or less than three yards, no huddle and run a pass (will be discussed below.) If we get 3.5 to 4.5 yards, we can hit between the tackles again. You sack the hell up as an oline and get the job done. No zone. Dive. Additionally, we could run a little PA on 4th.
If we are stuffed, I'd keep in the TEs. Great mismatch, great size, speed, and hands. To account for the run threat on 3rd down, they have to stack the box with LBs or an extra DL. So, unless SC hits us with a TO, we got a massive missmatch on our hands. So... I would call one of two plays if I was stuffed. Go from the gun, Hughes left, Rudy Right Tight, Ragone split behind Rudy, Floyd at X on right side, Fauria split left. I always like rolling out to the wide side of the field. Gives you more room, gives the DBs more space to have to cover, gives the QB a bigger field if case of having to scramble. So, going to the wide side, I'd have big H stay in to block backside pressure. I put Floyd in motion, upon the snap have him run a six yard whip. Rudy runs a skinny, skinny, skinny out route right over the goal line. Ragone runs a hook two yards deep in the endzone filling in the space behind Rudy and Floyd once were when they cut to the sideline. Meanwhile, Fauria runs the "Dwight Clark" route to the very back corner of the endzone. Once back there, defenders forget about players. Anyway, I'd roll out Jimmy to his right, the wide side, have him hit the open man in the zone, hit one of the two out routes vs. man, scramble for the two yards if everything is shot to shit. You have four great options here and a fifth with the run. Hell, if you even want to, allow Hughes to serve as a delay throw back once the D has totally committed to the action to the right. (Yeah, I have my own freaking playbook already. Whut?)
The other play? Floyd runs a corner to the back pylon. Rudy runs a shallow drag, Fauria a seven yard dig above Rudy, Ragone runs a delayed crossing drag behind Rudy in the middle and have Hughes run a delayed hook. Speed, size, hands. Deadly.
