i dont know about that recon, he will be given a chance to compete for sure, but we have alot of quality guys with more experience ahead of him.

Nice get Mooney. I don't ever read other teams' boards unless it's pertinent to ND, because I would just end up arguing with some (not all) of those morons out there. But reading that thread was quite entertaining. They too had people with 'inside sources' that turned out to make them look stupid. And you have several people in denial that he dropped them, and others who said LSU dropped him because of a numbers issue (when everyone knows they still have a few schollies to give), and others who conceeded him to the Irish. And of course, the truth lies somewhere but NOBODY KNOWS. But hopefully, the rumors are true and we can nab him...

yeah i dont like the look of this, i scratched my head when he scheduled a visit to LSU right after he decommited, and now that hes scheduled a colorado visit makes me think there is something about ND he doesnt like and is trying to find an alternative. i hope to hell im wrong.

Last I heard SC pulled his scholly! I agree the CO visit this late is not good!!!!! Can we please close out strong!!!! Losing guys this late and missing out on the big boys late always leaves a bad taste in my mouth about the class as a whole!!! Especially this year!

Well, I did read the Colorado info. Let's hope that it just him confirming that ND is the best choice. He did say that ND was the leader one week ago, so why would UC now be better than ND? The only thing I wonder is if he has heard that Starling is commiting to us and he is concerned about competition. Who the heck knows. CW is losing some of my confidence in his recruiting these last couple weeks.

dont lose confidence, we lost two kids who were previously commited to other schools. they were jumpers anyway. from the beginning i didnt expect much from this class, to even be in talks with teo and starling is cool i think. i think the team is going to do well this year and next years recruiting class is gonna be a monster

This is getting crazy. He's USC, he's not USC, he's USC, he's not USC. He's taking a visit to LSU, then he not's taking a visit to LSU. That leaves only ND right?

Now he's taking a visit to Colorado, seemingly more to affirm his liking for the Irish. However, yesterday he stated that USC's still in consideration, according to scout. :banghead2 This tells me that Sneaky Pete didn't pull his scholly like it's being rumored and that he got into his ear. So who the hell knows?

I will say this: 1. I hope to God we get this kid, but he's been so sketchy with his committment that it's going to be scary for any school until he signs.

and #2: I usually look forward to signing day. I love that day. But this year, I'm scared shitless. That's not a good sign...
