Haywood and Brown Throw Down

I heard from a player and some friends that Haywood and Brown got into a fist fight at yesterdays practice and had to be held back. anything else on this? definately not a good thing..

My first thought after hearing this(if it is true) was that is terrible for the team morale. Then I started to think of how the defense kept us in games when we didn't do jack shit on offense all year and I thought, well yeah I would be mad at Haywood too.....anyway, I was thinking, we need some fire and maybe this will spark some. Just a thought.

I played on a lot of football teams, and I saw many fights between teammates, and even between a player and a coach, but never between two coaches. They are though, former players, I'm sure they are cool now. In the long run I think it is a good thing, they should be pissed, and they should be ready to do something about it.

Players from opposing teams in the past, at that. I'm sure Corwin and Haywood also feel a little competition between each other. Who knows.

wow and I thought I was immature...ha. Fire is what we need...If I had a chance I'd def pick a fight with Haywood esp if I was Brown esp cuz his D kept us in a lot of games...Haywood needs to go. He has no playcalling skills. He is fine RB coach for the past decade..and thats all he should be imo...ya.

Doubtful. If they have to resort to that, it would be pretty sad.

Shit, just as long as somebody on the offensive side of the ball starts showing some enthusiasm, I don't care who it resonates from, although, I'd prefer the OL, but I'll take what I can get at this point. I'm sure Brown kicked his ass since most other defenses did the same this year.

I still believe (and I have no proof) that "playcalling" is not the issue. When Haywood was supposedly "calling plays" the team scored. I think the problem is with the offensive scheme.

I have said it over and over and over and over...

ND gonna win next year my friends. Not because of "who" they play, but because of "how" they play whoever they play. (O-line needs better footwork...)

And chyrspchuck, I agreed with you, but you kinda went off on me and my friend Junkhead. Probably cuz you a champ as well. It's when you lose the will to fight that you have lost. I've been there at times too.

Not sure what this means. Is this an attempt at insult or an olive branch. If it's an olive branch I appreciate it. I feel like on this board a lot of times, people troll just to get responses and to get into arguments. I got upset because I felt that was what you were doing last night.

I just wish all these negative fans would go root for USC.

I think I would pick a fight with Latina. Although it wouldn't be much of a fight because he would probably just dive at my feet.
