I have heard varying rumors, but have come to learn this year that YOU guys are the best source for information like this!!

Sun? TExas? Hawaii? Where do we go??

I heard the Sun against Oregon State - I REALLY hope that is not true! Can't stand the thought of losing to those guys again!!!

it all depends on tonite, if louisville beats rutgers were in the sun otherwise we could take the place for another conference that doesnt have enough bowl eligible teams to fill their allotted bowl spots.

If we have to play BYU, I mean, we might as well not even get off the bus. It'll be 6 more months of ND shit talking, 'cause we'll get HAMMERED by them. Unlike USC, they actually have a good offense. It could get very ugly (with they way we're playing now).

I'll take your first or 3rd choices. Either way, as bad as we've played the last month, it'll good to see one more ND game...

are you serious??? The only team we don't boat race is BYU and I like us in a good hard fought game there... it's not like we got smashed by MSU, Pitt, UNC... all of those are better than any team listed above... and so are we imo

I live way too close to LDS country to watch us get destroyed by BYU.

On a side bar, I looked around the net yesterday to see how many of the Fire Charlie website administrators were standing on the ledge, ready to jump. I stumbled across a site call Can Weis. On the list of possible replacements was Bronco Mendenhall. I emailed the guy to tell him how foolish his site is in general and to tell him how moronic it is to have Bronco Mendenhall, a devout Mormon, as a possibility. Do any of you honestly think that Mendenhall, a devout Mormon, is going to leave BYU to take over the nations second best, most recognized, Catholic football program?

And yes, I said second best. I think that Boston College has proven themselves to be a far better football program.

I wouldn't say anybody aspired to be in a lesser bowl......oh wait yeah pretty much everyone aspired for the irish to go to a lesser bowl. and now with a possible sun bowl they want an even LESSER bowl! what a shame.

If Floyd and Smith are healthy and playing I give us a good chance against any of those teams if (this can be a big IF) we show up motivated to play and Charlie shows he knows what he is doing. I think Smith would have made some difference on D agaisnt USC and Syracuse and I know Floyd would have been a difference maker against Syracuse and we would have had a few first downs int he first half against USC. I will miss Allen but I would prefer to see JA get to play a whole game as the featured back. Taking another look at some of the runs agaisnt USC shows me he can make a difference if he can touch the ball 20 times in a game. He actually looked fast and ran hard (something we have not had from AA or Hughes in combination).

It would be nice to say we have beaten another team with a winning record or even a ranked team. I get tired of seeing is stated that the only team we beat this year with a winning record is Navy and the last ranked team was Penn State in 2006 #25.
