The reality is ND is a fraud until they can prove they aren’t.

Not motivated to see them play Navy or even SMU or another team on their schedule besides Miami…

They are who they say we are. Not what I hoped we were.

I’m still sitting in the same chair.

Imagine if the NFC East and AFC West had different replay centers any given weekend

I can’t get over this shit lol

Not even mad, they didn’t play well enough to win but we’ve now had two games at the highest level of college football end incorrectly due to timing operations and lack of replay support in the first 8 weeks of the season

We’ve had replay in college football for 21 years

GATTACA!

It's about to get gross

^summary of today

We aren't special. Vegas and the Big 12 made a lot of money with that game ending how it did, but really the fault lies with some coaches and some players. Just a totally unserious approach to the game coupled with poor execution.

You either get better and beat Miami, or it's another "shoulda coulda woulda" 10 win season with a lot of blame to go around.

Execution? I’m in favor of it.

Pretty hilarious that we were too disgusted in here that we didn’t even really care immediately after.
I still don't really. It's nice that internet and media is creating a narrative for us, but I'm not interested in excuses. This shouldn't have ever been a game, period. Just like aTm last year, we lost to a bad team with an inflated record. In both instances I just find it hard to have moral outrage over a call at the end when we lost both games due to our own poor play and atrocious coaching.

I agree with you but we can be upset at both. ND sucked and college football feels rigged. I legit felt bad for WMU probably more than ND. But the game seems rigged and it’s become so money driven it’s not even fun to watch.

So that means the Big 12 Replay Center:

- Blatantly lied according to Periera
- Periera blatantly lied on TV about the report
- The Replay Center is incompetent as to how counting works

Which one?

My guess? They legitimately forgot to review it because the field storm. They then lied to Pereira about clearing the play as reviewed.

Most likely…

- They messed up and didn’t review it. Or knew but didn’t flag it.
- When Periera questioned them on it, probably immediately, they lied and said they did, not knowing how obvious it actually was.
- Now they’re giving a vague statement to cover multiple angles.

would have also been a different story if BYU fans weren’t on the field in an instant. Definitely swayed the refs to not intervene in any way

Meh, they had us clear the field in '05 after the Bush Push game and the clock hit 0. Refs screwed us in that one too.

The really shitty thing is the bullshit fumble spike at the end of the 1st half, that play was blown dead! I don't know how review turns that into a turnover. Even if we don't get a TD there and we kick a FG....then we kick another FG at the end of regulation and the whole no call on the PI/:01 left on the clock isn't an issue.

Tae or Talich is almost certainly on Lyons if Tae is healthy, are significantly less likely to get rag dolled. Could have been OPI but whatever

Don’t think it was OPI. Good route. 100% though that their answer to the 12 personnel was to have JOB play Nickel some. Well with Tae the answer is to have Talich play Nickel, as he did last year.

The extremely glass half full, this defense ranked:

1. Moore: cleared concussion protocol day of game. Two weeks without full practice
2. Traore: Targeting
3. Tae: Out
4. KVA: not 100% to put it easily
and then down the list of players from there.

I love Marcus Freeman, but some real questions need to be answered.

He has now lost 4 times as a double digit favorite.

How can we be this unprepared to compete? Unexcusable when the same coach has lost vs NIU, Marshall and shitty Stanford in recent seasons.

ND won the turnover battle 2-1. Stopped a fake punt inside BYU's 30. We have a huge talent advantage. And we still lost & only had the lead for what, 5-6 minutes?

don’t ask me how the Traore one is calculated, but according to Game On Paper: the two biggest EPA plays all game:

In a game we lost, we had a 7 PT EPA advantage and had a -8 on two plays….
