I think many people apply a minimal amount of brainpower at their jobs which allow them to simultaneously stay engaged online throughout the day. For the record I have Mondays off.
Or they have three screens with one dedicated to Notre Dame football stuff (videos, message boards etc)

I think the rumors that A&M just made him a ridiculous NIL offer to not visit ND are looking more believable as he continues to stay on this sinking ship

Looking at A&M's schedule and what we've seen from them I wouldn't be surprised if they ended up anywhere between a 6 to 8 losses this season. If that indeed happens that class will fall apart.

In each of 5 remaining conference games ESPN predictor gives them less than 50% chance of winning, toss up Tennessee, South Carolina, Oklahoma, losses to Texas and Alabama.

If he doesn’t visit at this point, I’ll just assume whatever he signed was effectively binding, which seems to be the case for most high-end commits these days.

Wouldn't be the end of the world if he goes to A&M for 2027 and possibly 2028 then transfers to ND when Elko gets canned.

There's a wide chasm between winning not being at the top and willingly boarding a sinking ship.
Who doesn’t want to jump on the Titanic? It’s the only cruise where you can get rich on the way down (with beautiful music being played) by helping yourself to everyone else’s jewelry and cash before the iceberg finishes the job.

I think 1 year-in flips are going to be much more common for top HS prospects under the new NIL system.

I hardly think it's a sinking ship, they literally beat ND and went to the Playoff a year ago. By this logic, every ND commit should've decommitted last year when we started 0-2

A&M is struggling this year but they still have a very good coach, plenty of money, and a great incoming recruiting class. Some kids just don't want to live in northern Indiana and go to class every day, and that's perfectly fine

You must not be watching A&M this year. It's an absolute disaster. Their quarterback is incapable of completing a forward pass and they don't have a backup. Elko is attacking the media. This isn't a rough patch, it's going to stay this way.

To be fair, A&M lost both coordinators last offseason. The new hires have been a big miss right now, but all it takes is getting the right guy in to call the offense (I'm assuming whoever is running the defense is calling Elko's scheme) and A&M can get the ship righted.

I've certainly been an A&M hater in the past, but I actually do think Elko is a good coach.

Elko promoted Holman Wiggins, the big time WR coach/recruiter, right? Wasn’t there smoke at one point about him interviewing with ND?

Yep, was co-OC last two years. Ace recruiter, which is why he got the bump.

I think you may be thinking of Colin Klein, who went to Kansas State to take the head job after last season. ND interviewed him the same year as the Ludwig debacle.
