In all seriousness when Miami picks up Amir Sears commits they are going to have an absurd CB class. Donte Wright, Amir Sears and Ai'King Hall all have a legit shot at being 5 stars on Rivals.

ND's CB class in '26 with Khary Adams, Ayden Pouncey and the criminally underrated Chaz Smith was awesome but this Miami class is even more next level.

So let's make good with that SoFi money and get the #1 CB class in '28 starting with Keaton Fields.

The states of Michigan, Illinois, and Ohio have 8 5 stars and 14 overall top 100 recruits. Indiana doesn't have a single prospect in the top 247.

Obviously ND is recruiting nationally but there will plenty of opportunity near by for some elite talent.

The amount of talent in Illinois alone for the 2028 class is insane. In addition to Darieon Prescott, ND could also land Kameron McGee, Grant Bowen, Logan Thompson, Wyatt Van Boening, Caleb Tucker, Marshaun Thornton, Ben Coleman, Jack McNamara, and Kajus Muralis.

Been thinking about the revitalization of Illinois talent (or greater Midwest if you prefer), as it's been over the course of several years now and it's not just a blip.

Sports domes have really levelled out the playing field. These kids have the opportunity to train/play all year round now. Exciting to see.

Given how shitty the Chicago winters are, not enough facilities not just for football but also soccer as well...
