Some say he could already be dead if not severely incapacitated, and that the Republicans are keeping that reality as quiet as possible to avoid Gov. Andy Beshear being able to select his successor should he retire or God forbid, pass away, but who knows what the truth is right now.

Don’t know where to put this but happy 250 to everyone! No matter your stance on social, economic or geopolitical issues, we should all be proud to be a part of this nation and all that it has to offer. Love all you men and women and you in here that choose to not be defined!

This is a great community we have here and even when things get heated, we are all human beings and a part of the great USofA (except for you Toronto lol jk)!

Hope everyone has a safe and wonderful 4th!

It seems like his Elaine Cho may be in China to avoid being his health proxy being in the country and able to pull the plug. She is the person who can give that order, but out of the country and McConnell continues to be brain dead.

Also, it seems they want to wait until 8/3 when a special election (there is no Gov Andy Beshear replacement appointee ability - it's a special election either way) automatically becomes part of '26 general mid term elections whereas before, the election can happen ASAP.

Also, they fear the power of Thomas Massie who may just decide to run for this KY Senator opening.

All the way around, this is just weird -- Let the guy rest in peace for crying out loud.

I don't know who is worse, the geriatric politician that refuses to retire, the handlers that play Weekend at Bernie's to milk every last drop of power, the party that makes primary challenges almost impossible or the electorate that puts up with all that shit.

Latest news... Still sounds fishy to me since there are no photos, audio, or video of said convos; the extreme sceptic in me says the two Senators feel good about their truthful story because the two of them individually actually said these things over the phone to Mitch on the other end, even if he was in a coma, that way they can say they're not lying about the "conversations."

Just give the public one piece of proof of life, just one little piece.

I guess we need to give them the benefit of the doubt...

Worth a re-watch. Let them run the DNC.

Comical- you picked the nazi lover

It’s working!

I stumbled upon this thread recently. There’s a whole lot of dumb on your side in this thread. Yikes.

Anyway, sometimes The Onion hits it on the nose. I’m sure we can all have a laugh.

I donated to his campaign twice, by the way.

Jean-Jacques Rousseau – the original Woke

He invented it. Every premise of contemporary progressive ideology traces directly back to one man who had never met a "noble savage", never raised a child, and never lived according to a single principle he preached.

1. His foundational claim: man is naturally good and civilization corrupts. This sounds compassionate. It is the most dangerous idea in Western political thought. Because if man is naturally good, then every failure, every crime, every inequality is caused by the system – never by the individual.
Responsibility evaporates. The oppressor is always external. The victim is always pure. This is the complete architecture of Woke in one sentence, written in 1755.”

Awesome... I appreciate the history lesson on the more righteous Anglo-Scottish Enlightenment vs. the more radical French Enlightenment, and that Rousseau is the OG of Woke, but... What's your point?

Hey keyboard warrior. Why don't you take a stroll through Little Italy in NY and ask who effing cares. Come back and tell us what happens if your fingers are still attached to your hands by then.

On the Iran meeting that didn't happen, are you truly this clueless?

If socializing with Iran is good and that is having a clue- then, yes. Clueless.
