If you think Tim's is trash then it's a fair comparison because DD is also complete garbage. When I drive by DD I wonder who goes there. There are lots of good donuts in the world but they're nowhere to be found at DD.

This is the correct take. Both are horrendous. Tim's was decent once-upon-a-time when it was privately owned. It started to go downhill over the course of successive parent companies and went to complete shit when it got bought by Burger King.

Haven’t gone to Tim’s in years. People will say quality control has dipped and all that, but, in truth, Tim’s was never amazing. It was just convenient and cheap.
