Although Darializa Avila Chevalier is the more radical one of the three (but it looks like she realizes she needs to back off being too radical to succeed), you need to understand this for what it is:
1) It's greater NYC which obviously (like LA) has millions of struggling lower and middle class folks in very expensive-to-live cities who want change, i.e., more affordability and lower prices, and more opportunities to get ahead, whereas today, only the uber rich appear to be getting more uber rich - It doesn't mean this is a movement that's going to spread across the Democrat party like wildfire; more likely, incumbents across blue states/cities will be defeated by any type of Democrat opponent as long as they aren't in bed with Israel and choose to challenge this unholy coalition and offer a better life
2) It looks radical from a quick glance of the headlines and hearing Mamdami endorsed them all, but again, the reality is that a lot of residents in these areas see MAGA-majority Republican Party as being what it is: Being a coalition of the unhinged Christian Nationalist, uber-rich Tech Bros., and crazed anti Immigration admin folks like Stephen Miller, Kevin Roberts, and Russell Vought.
--- They are voting more progressive because they feel these folks best represent what they're currently looking for in government representatives
--- They are voting more left of current long-time Democrat incumbents because they see they are in bed with Zionist Israel via PACs like AIPAC and they don't want their reps being in bed with those supporting Genocide across the Middle East and being bought and paid for by an outside country
--- 9/11 - What the hell does that have to do with this trend? If anything, there is a lot of supporting evidence that Israel and Mossad were very aware of what was going to happen and they and bad actors from US financial & government insiders let it happen; there's nothing un-American about wanting a better life and standard of living in a crazy city of many uber rich where inequality is at its highest level ever
--- Scott Jennings is full of shit: He's positioning it as "and they're against Israel's right to exist;" no, they are against politicians who support Israel and its Zionist genocidal cult; and he knows that the Democrat who beat Goldman is another NYC Jew, Brad Lander, who instead of supporting this, is for building coalition with all people in the region so no, none of these people are anti-semitic, they're anti Zionist genocide and influence
3) Communism! That's laughable, the DSA is simply in support of a more Socialist Democrat lean like Scandinavian countries have, not communism or radical Socialism (again, I think you'll see Chevalier pull back from her more extreme radicalism)
4) Nobody is happy that things need to trend to a more leftist position, but extreme attack against the lower and middle class will cause this more radical (by American standards) reaction and will cause folks in certain blue regions of the country to make this shift if they see that as they're only way for a better and more progressive life vs. the political alternatives (whether Republican or Democrat)
