Bring on the ND night games, I love it! With alcohol sales now happening in the stadium that place is going to be rocking for big games... Not to mention how much more money in alcohol related concessions the program is going make by hosting the fames at night.

In a world where the football arm's race is being fueled by funding, every million matters!

alcohol sales are a very minor part of it all. Compared to all the rest of the funding streams
and of course no one will talk about the consequences of lots of drunks in one place

Very, very small... But a part none-the-less. It's also going to help make the stadium a nightmare to play in for opposing fans and might drive a younger crowd in there on game days.

Yes, there will be consequences of course.

Rowdy crowds can be both good and bad for the home team
they get noisy enough and do not care that they may help the opposing D when our QB is calling signals

Not to say this isn't a valid concern, but Georgia is kind of in a weird spot, because they have Georgia Tech as their annual OOC rivalry game. The only SEC schools that have those are Georgia, Florida and South Carolina.

Alabama and Ohio State meanwhile, their rivalry games are in-conference, so that gives them the flexibility to schedule a prime OOC matchup.

Texas A&M they had Blue Moon, pretty sure I helped sell them out. Every game afterwards, no Blue Moon... at least not for the 102 Mafia.

This is a low-level curiosity -- maybe some of you know off the top of your heads.

This lower pro league (UFL) seems pretty poor quality to me, but while watching I wondered if any ND guys were playing in it. I gave a quick scan and the names Alize Mack and R J Oben showed up. Does anyone know if there are more? And, if anyone knows, what sorts of schools are mainly represented in there? (my prejudices make me think that ND guys wouldn't generally go play for low level ball, but use their degrees for something better.)

Basically players the NFL ignored; trying to gain attention so they will get another shot and it has happened, if not a lot.
Remember. Kurt Warner, was in NFL Europe and before that the Indoor Football league. Then the Rams picked him up and there you are.
