Man I can’t help but feel bad for how they played Bourque here, a kid they knew wanted to be at ND the whole cycle. Tough business.

The smoke would them indicate Champ gave ND a silent? That's the only rationale for telling Bourque his visit is off... if he isn't visiting.

To confirm: we think the cb that came in was because that guy is northeast analyst and Bourque may have told him the visit is off?

Conjecture at this point tho, right? One aspect i appreciate from from this staff is how transparent they are, even if it's harsh. Hope that was the case here.

I agree with this, heavily. Cut throat business. I feel for the kid and hope he lands in a good spot with a bright future

He has probably the best freshman highlight tape I’ve ever seen. The first throw is absolutely mind boggling for a 14 year old.



Here is his brief sophomore / junior (fall 2025) tape. He had an ankle injury early in the year and only had 63 total attempts.



The upside is top 10 pick / Heisman winner. People aren’t going to get as excited about this one as they should bc of his adjusted rating after reclassifying, but this is a massive pull.

If the staff got this done it's an enormous win. Monds has ELITE upside and would be a great followup to Jarrard's re-classification.

I don't get too excited about QBs anymore because for every three you land, two will almost assuredly transfer out, but I love the the take. This kid will had a legitimate chance to compete for the starting job down the road. I almost wish he was still a 2028 to put an extra year between Monds and the pair of QBs ND landed this year.

So I would venture to guess he's a silent at worst. Would really like an announcement soon. Not interested in turning this into another Deuce/Food thread
