Trump was like Oprah last night "YOU get a Medal of Freedom, YOU get a Purple Heart...." - too long winded and drawn out for my taste but definitely drew a strong contrast against the hateful Dems.

Too bad the Republicans will reward him with zero meaningful legislation and shitty Congressional candidates. War in Iran gonna be lit.

That was 2/25 after the SOTU - glad I invested appropriately.

Holy shit. The adults are obviously still in charge? Why are we in Iran?

Yes, the adults are in charge. James Li is just implying that Iran is not a threat to the United States if they were not launching drones at California, which was clearly never the basis for the strikes in Iran. Follow better accounts.

Once again Ozzman speaking out of his ass on shit he knows nothing about
Right because losing a tanker and possibly crew is totally worth it.

"Let me say we’ve won. You know, you never like to say too early that you won. We won. We won, in the first hour it was over, but we won"

Maybe wait until the bodies of US servicemen are fucking cold before you snidely joke about it because it proves you right in an argument you fucking cretin. You have no fucking idea why that plane went down and if it had anything to do with where it was being employed or if it was a pure accident.

It’s reflexive opposition to Trump on anything and everything. Pretty obvious who he is cheering for.
Yep. Pretty obvious that I'm cheering for Americans to not get hurt or lose their lives unnecessarily. You can't even tell me how many have died or been injured because they even lie about that.

Not enough of a threat to fund DHS.

Why would that matter anyway?
DHS is only interested in chasing and detaining dishwashing and blueberry-picking immigrant terrorists...
Who cares about the terrorists stealing drones that could be made lethal and inflicted on the American public?

Thanks for confirming you have no idea what DHS does.

We'll see what countries respond to the demand to help open the straut. So far it's going well.

“Hey do you guys want to help so that way you aren’t having to rely on us relaxing Russian sanctions for you to power your country?”

Epic sauce Germans standing up to Drumpf 😎😎😎

The subtext is that either they aren’t serious about cutting off Russia and only use it as a cudgel to comment snarkily to their feudal lords (us), that they can’t actually project power in any meaningful way past their own territorial waters, or Both (ding ding ding)

Ok, now do Japan, Australia, France, Canada, and the UK. Might be easier to list what navies are going to help after the demand was made.

He also threatened China but they immediately back tracked on that one.

Why the Iran crisis caught Europe flat-footed

Given the stakes, one might have expected a strong European response. Instead it has been muted. On the diplomatic front, countries have split over whether to welcome the attacks or lament them. Europe’s armed forces are already overstretched; even if they wanted to accept Donald Trump’s request on March 14th to help open the Strait of Hormuz, European navies would not make the difference where America’s navy cannot. The European Union and European governments have been left scrambling to protect their economies from a war over which they have no influence, and to which they are unusually vulnerable.

The European armed forces are overstretched? By what exactly???

The European vulnerabilities due to their reliance on imported energy is entirely of their own doing with their suicidal green energy cult. I pity what an impotent continent they have become and how much they realize they are serfs to America

We literally redesigned the entire international order 80 years ago for the specific purpose of ensuring that the Germans could not project power past their borders. It went very very badly for the world 3 times in 100 years when they could.

Why the fuck would we want to scrap that system now? Are we really so transactional that we’re going to compromise a system that’s led to decades of mutual prosperity over haggling about who is contributing more? Dumb fucking zero sum thinking, which is probably the most charitable way I could describe this admin’s strategic vision.

The international geopolitical situation in 1945 is not the same as the situation in 2026. Are you trying to tell me the purpose of NATO and all of our other alliances is for our allies to be militarily impotent and for us to have to carry all of the water in times of conflict? If other NATO nations are not capable of meaningfully projecting naval power into the Middle East against Iran, the what the fuck would happen if China were to preemptively attack Guam prior to invading Taiwan? We’d be left out to dry by our “allies”

A reasonable request, but given the more recent history, this isn't too surprising.
