I am fascinated by the decision to use James Flanigan specifically for this play:

- was it just for fun and they didn’t think it would be a big play?
- did Flanigan have a good week of practice and was rewarded?
- can Washington not pull as fast as Flanigan?
- other?

Funniest thing about that play is Flanigan ends up about 5 yards from Love when he scores. Kid can run.

If I had to guess. they like flanigan as an inline te. Washington is more of a move te (h or f). If you want to run this play with 2 inline te, he is the best guy for it, especially with cooper out

Flanigan and Coop are similar-sized and going to be a nice combo. Can't wait to add Premer to the mix and see if they are good enough to force Denbrock into some 12 in each game.

If you look away for a second at Flanigans block it looks like Love jukes the LB not a full speed spin move. Special.

More than likely, he's able to get there quicker.
