One of Purdue's only source of scoring? I feel like MFMF took that personal after the last week of wrestling coaches

Number one overall class with recruits and transfers. Great haul from Martin, Freeman, and company. Get the giant from Oregon and this should be a top CFP contender.

Mostly if Keeley and Young take the leap, I have honestly no idea how anyone passes on this defense.

Haven’t totally given up on Schmidt, but seems like he’s going to have 2 years to get right mentally. He was a top kicking recruit for a reason.

He was a kicker recruit, a top punter recruit

Nobody ran on the defense last year. If the passing defense takes a leap with better pass rush, could be best defense in the country.

Ok, I’m happy, everything from here is a great bonus,… couple sides:

1.) now that the dust has cleared I’m just curious why they kept thing under wraps with some, like obviously Keeley and maybe others, why wait like they did? Just a honest curiosity.

2.) listening to Irish Insider and even during the Brewu commitment they both ( idk who they are, don’t follow these guys often) gave ND little chance to win it all next year… interesting listen. Are they always pump the breaks types? Because Im never a title thumper, yall know me by now, and I legit think they have as good a shot as any other team in the country, so it was a bit surprising to hear them kind of politely shrug off that idea.

They need their talented underclassmen to step up at WR, TE, RB, and OL + get solid play from Brewu + Gray / Onye / young guys. On offense, These are all truly highly rated guys who with great coaching should take a jump.

this team is certainly a title contender, especially in a world with no juggernauts.

I really can’t stop staring at this lmao. We aren’t just number one in aggregate points, we have by far the highest average, which would only go up with Gray. Stuff I thought I’d never see with ND.

Brad admits in the comments he was just engagement baiting with his bed wetting tweets whomever called the other day

Agree. We would need a lot to go wrong to not make the playoffs next year. And by then the young talent will be fully seasoned, a la Carr, Johnson, KVA this year. Im as optimistic as I've ever been.

Nobody in the entire country has a roster and coaching staff that measures up to this team. Multiple NFL caliber talent players at every single position. Elite coordinators, elite position group coaches, and the number one head coach in the country at keeping them focused over a (mostly) cake schedule.

This is the best ND team in a generation, and in all likelihood, will be the best one we will see for a long, long time.

That fuckstick deserves the same amount of attention as Bruce Straughan. Why does anyone care what some random dork who paid Elon for a blue check has to say?

Oregon has the higher player rating avg., at the moment. 92.41 vs. 92.21

I have stared at 247 enough to know that sorting the average column has and continues to have us second behind Oregon in average player talent. Maybe that changes if we get the DT.

Still amazing, sorry to nit.

He's not Bruce level... At least in every post he seems to cite where the info comes from. Bruce pretends like he's an insider.
