I really hope he's ready to put his head down, work, and manifest his immense physical tools into production. Hopefully he and Patridge are on the same page and he becomes are 40+ snap per game guy that can play both DE spots and bump down inside in pass rushing situations.

I think the irony of the situation imo, is if Keon had signed with us originally...due to him needing development, he probably would have experienced a similar career. He probably sits behind guys like Burnham, Traore, JJB, Botelho and JR. He might have transferred. Instead, we get him with the chance to contribute right away with one of the best developers at his position. Most times in life, things don't work out...but sometimes, just sometimes...they do! Welcome Home Keon!

But Marcus ordered his grad assistants, ‘Quickly bring the finest robe and put it on him; put all but a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet.
23
Take the fattened calf and slaughter it. Then let us celebrate with a feast,
24
because Keon was dead, and has come to life again; he was lost, and has been found.’ Then the celebration began.
25
Now Boubacar had been out in the field and, on his way back, as he neared the house, he heard the sound of music and dancing.
26
He called one of the grad assistants and asked what this might mean.
27
The GA said to him, ‘Keon has returned and Marcus has slaughtered the fattened calf because he has him back safe and sound.’
28
He became angry, and when he refused to enter the house, Marcus came out and pleaded with him.
29
He said to his Marcus in reply, ‘Look, all these years I served you and not once did I disobey your orders; yet you never gave me even a young goat to feast on with my friends.
30
But when Keon returns who swallowed up your property with prostitutes, for him you slaughter the fattened calf.’
31
He said to him, ‘Boubacar, you are here with me always; everything I have is yours.
32
But now we must celebrate and rejoice, because Keon was dead and has come to life again; he was lost and has been found.’”

The Keon Song (2026, by North Dakota)

Will you let me be your d-end,
let me rush with Bryce for you;
pray that I may have the grace to
let you coach me, too.
We are pilgrims on a journey,
we are trav'lers to Orleans;
we are here to help each other
walk the mile and get the ball.
I will turn on the #1-light for you
At the right-time of the year;
I will be held often for you,
Drawing flags you long to see.
I will weep when you are weeping;
when we bring the trophy home.
I will share your joy and sorrow
'til we've seen this journey through.
When we sing to God in South Bend
we shall find such harmony,
born of all we've known together
of Christ's love and a Natty.
