You shouldn't be overly pumped yet... He's done very little in his career. That said, he was just starting his emergence late last season, so maybe he clicks with the new DL coach and becomes a strong rotational player in the top 4. Notre Dame doesn't have a lot of 6'3, 300+lb bodies that can move... So they're basically buying traits to see if Partridge can turn him into something.
Still hope we get some other interior dudes in the portal.

The 20th is the final day to add or drop classes. So anyone ND adds needs to be in class by the 20th.

I think we will hear the vast majority this week. If we are adding anyone close to the 20th, my guess is it’s only a final 1-2 people.
Spot on. We'll be 90% done by next Saturday the 17th, with maybe 1 name that comes out Sunday or Monday.

We will. You don't have to worry there. Who they will be I'm not confident in, but there are too many options that would be interested in leaving their current situation for a raise and chance to play for Marcus Freeman, in the spotlight that Notre Dame brings.

It doesn't feel Like it when you're captured in the moment and emotionally invested in. 4-5 names that ND has lost out on... But when you consider that there are still 50+ names, with varying impact potential, and probably another 15-20 that are back chaneling to see what's out there should they jump into the portal... ND will be fine.

Big, physical kid for a guy as young as he is. Plays the game like Davante Adams. Uses his body well... Not a super burner, but if he has a step on you he just out physicals you for the ball and he's going to beat you in the air.

Someone could also enter the portal and not enroll until after the spring

This WF TE entered his name in the portal and is going to keep it in there until April when reclassifies as a GT after graduating. I think that means he'll remain in the portal, reclassify in April and then start talking to teams as a then GT.

Porter and Graham are individually probably #1 and #2 in terms of NFL potential for WRs ND will have gotten since? Floyd?
Yeah... I'd say that Kevin Austin had the same type upside. He just couldn't put his life together enough to realize it. Dude had all the talent in the world though.

I also think Chase Claypool was a certified monster. When motivated to be a game changer, that guy was nearly impossible to defend at the college level. The combination of length, size and strength his senior year was something else.

ND runs are notoriously complicated passing offense. Hopefully Porter picks up on it quickly in the spring! He's certainly going to come having been well coached.
