Done…When does IU get their QB?
Already did. Hoover from TCU. Marsh at WR, Turbo at RB, some DE from Kansas state and CB from Cincy and a S from Wisconsin. Seems like they must have given some guys decision deadlines or something, they’re the only school that seems to be really loading up so far. When does IU get their QB?
Ft. Wayne kid.
*OK State also loading up but mainly North Texas guys following the new coachAlready did. Hoover from TCU. Most likely following Hartline to USFLoved his film coming out of hs. Looked like the second coming of Devonta Smith.
That said, I don't think he could visit due to academics. That likely hasn't changed after a few online classes at osu.

I think it's because those guys are visiting now compared to say ND where most of their transfer targets are visiting starting tomorrow.Already did. Hoover from TCU. What so many people are failing to realize is that IU is the only team in the top 10'ish nationally heading into next year that HAS to go all in on the Portal to recruit, because not only do they lose a lot, but their high school recruiting is not good (relative to their peers) which makes their depth highly suspect. Not only to they need to take a lot of Portal guys, they need almost everyone of them to hit, and they have to stay extremely healthy and hope that none of their coaches get poached.Game can recognize game....IU on some next level shit.
Not familiar with this account but this must be sarcasm.

This is the kind of stuff most college football fans were saying a year ago. They're a great story, but it's really hard for them to replicate what they've done this year simply by adding 10 new Portal pieces. All they need are a couple Portal misses and it quickly comes crashing down. Hoover is a good QB, but he's unlikely to give them a repeat Heisman Trophy winner. It's much more likely that he's more of a Kurtis Rourke type. Competent and capabale, but not a Heisman level guy.
No different than pro teams that live and die just free agency. If you can't draft and develop internally, eventually the talent pool runs dry.
I've got not way of refuting your argument right now other than to say we'll have to wait and see. They got very, very lucky on the injury front this year. They have very little roster deoth overall. That's why all these guys are committing there, because they're losing a lot to graduation this year and they're being promised starting spots. It's easy to do that when it's obvious that your portal acquisitions are obviously better than your remaining players on your roster, which speaks to their issue with depth. This is the kind of stuff most college football fans were saying a year ago. I agree, but their model is working and working well. I'll be impressed until it stops, and if you think about it maybe it's the right way to do biz. Grab proven guys at this level, go all in and almost dismiss the HS kids and just pick them up on the flip side. What so many people are failing to realize is that IU is the only team in the top 10'ish nationally heading into next year that HAS to go all in on the Portal to recruit, because not only do they lose a lot, but their high school recruiting is not good (relative to their peers) which makes their depth highly suspect. They have a little tougher schedule next year OSU & SC at home— Michigan & Washington away. The rest of their games are WsI agree, but their model is working and working well. I think the 4 teams you mentioned will be dogs in those games, home or away. They have a little tougher schedule next year OSU & SC at home— Michigan & Washington away. The rest of their games are Ws

Quick summary of IU's commits today:
- - TCU QB Josh Hoover
- - Boston College RB Turbo Richard
- - Michigan State WR Nick Marsh
- - Kansas State edge Tobi Osunsanmi
- - Wisconsin S Preston Zachman
- - Cincinnati S Jiquan Sanks
It looks like Cig and IU is going to secure another solid DE today:
Harris tweet was yesterday. Seems unlikely they would land both?
