ACC afterwards ND 2 years ago with bowl selections... This ending up in the Sun Bowl. The people of El Paso and the organizers understand the draw of ND and truly appreciated them.

I would not be surprised if ND is pushed down there again due to ACC shenanigans

If they have to play a bowl, they should force their way to the Holiday Bowl. Which is on Fox and contains ACC affiliation.

Sun Bowl as second choice.
Completely agree. However ND will probably roll over like always and eat the turd sandwhich they are dealt.

While we are telling everyone to fuck off here is one to add to the list....

Fuck the NCAA for being such a shitty institution that control over one of it's sports postseasons is now in the hands of a corrupt media company that has a financial interest in one of the conferences

Two paths for the future of college football IMO.

1. BCS rankings with a 16 team playoff format. Get rid of the BS auto qualifiers for conference champs.

2. Soccer style rankings with tiers that have relegations at the end of a period of 1 year or open to other ideas on this one. Have the tiers play each other during the "regular season" and then have a call up/demotion at the end of the season.

#1 is the easiest, most logical, and best option.

Two conferences. But the rest of the point stands.

I don’t want to play in some shitty bowl where someone could get hurt and miss the next season and why did we send Ron Powlus to do our presentation? He is the one heavily involved in scheduling.

He has people skills, dammit? He talks to the committee so the engineers don't have to.

If this was active this year, they would have done

9 Alabama
10 Miami
11 BYU
12 Tulane
13 Notre Dame

or some BS.
Exactly. The committee predetermined this outcome a few weeks ago. They hoped the results on the field would justify the outcome, and when the didn't get the results they wanted, they just did it anyway. There are no rules when it comes to corruption.

The NUMBER ONE rule change that needs to be implemented is that all future committee meetings are done 100% publicly. Live stream it, put a camera in the room and let everyone listen in.

The days of having silent boardroom meetings and then throwing up some jackass to answer questions like he is testifying to congress need to end NOW

One thing that stands out to me is Hunter Yurachek replacing Mack Rhoades as CFP committee chair supposedlybecause Rhoades stepped down due to "personal reasons" amid investigations by Baylor into alleged misconduct, including an incident with a player and new allegations regarding faith-based policy violations, prompting his leave from Baylor and the CFP leadership.

Is it coincidental that within a week of Yuracek taking over, the committee started shifting to this ‘bama ranked over ND posture and the narrative that “if ND and Miami are ranked consecutively, then we can look at and use the H2H matchup in week 1 to separate the two teams.”

The whole “held Love to 33 yards” is a Miami media talking point they’ve hammered for weeks now. It shows their monthlong cryfest worked. This is why they wanted to do away with the computers.

Listen here, moron. The fact that ND threw a million now screens and didn't throw down the field allowed Miami to crowd the box. Guess who is #1 in the country at passing downfield now. Idiots!

The only WR we were not hanging with is Hobbs on Toney. Guess what? Hobbs isnt playing anymore. We now have Davonte and Tae. Don't think we are idiots, schmuck. If we can see through that in two seconds, so can you.

I was worried about that too. It started changing right when he took over.

OK knowing this I am now in 100% conspiracy mode that they actively chose to fuck us because it will be the last opportunity for them to do so. It seems weirdly prescient that they thought they even needed that kind of MOU but when you see what happened with the 2x G5 AQs this year you get the foresight.

Not an issue if ND starts 1-1. The Miami loss you understand because it's on the road and Carr's first ever start.

Losing like that to the Aggies at home? Unforgivable.
Certainly agree. A&M was the worst loss I've seen since following ND (2013) and this confirms that.
