Yes. John Brice's theory is that if Duke wins, they'll find a way to get Miami in so the ACC has a team.
John "Kenny Minchey won the job" Brice? Milton Waddams sized grains of salt.

The committee would be just as reasonable to tell the ACC that they made their own bed with their dumb tiebreaker rules trying to finagle a second spot for a conference that is barely deserving of one. High risk, high reward, the gamble didn't pay off. Better luck next year.

what ever happens I just 100% want ND out of the ACC conference. The ACC games on the schedule are largely garbage anyway. The refs are clearly against ND as is the entire conference. Get out of there. It is simp to stay. It is also cuck. Simp-cuck.

Yeah what’s killing us this year is that BC and Syracuse were absolute ass and even Pitt couldn’t handle a Big 12 bottom feeder.

I agree a decisive Bama loss should keep them out.
I don't disagree in theory, but I just don't see the committee saying "well, you were in with a margin for error, but then you played the #3 team in the country and lost worse than you should have, so now you're out." They absolutely won't do that because of the implication for conference championship games. Mind you, I would love to see it because it would mean the death knell of the Conference Cash Grabs (how convenient it's the same abbreviation), but the committee is ultimately a creation of the conferences, and at this point, it only exists as a going concern by the graces of the BiG and SEC.

The committee has basically said that Notre Dame and Alabama are tied.

No fuckin 3 loss team who is not a conf champion should ever get into the 12 team playoffs! This ain’t a Saban bama team.

So, to no doubt get ND in I basically have to root for Ty Simpson to break his leg in half, jeez. (That karma is still out there, but damn that’s dirty)

8 Oklahoma
9 Miami
10 ND

Everyone shuts the f*ck up , except for the Longhorn Network.

I don't see the committee dropping Bama out either. But that's the problem. If they can drop BYU they should be able to drop Bama to the point where Bama's worthiness is in question too.

But ESPN refuses to entertain that scenario, and that's why the current system is corrupt...

All 3 losses would be to teams in the CFP, and one wouldn't exist but for the CCG. Whine about it all you want, it's not going to change anything. The committee already signaled their intention.

They will drop Bama 1 spot to 10. That was entirely the point of last week. They are aren't going to drop them out of the CFP bracket in favor of two teams that are idle this weekend.

North Dakota State gave up 15 points in the final 3 minutes to lose by 1. 23.5 point favorites.

I'm not arguing about what they are likely to do. I'm explaining why their machinations, including their ESPN mouthpieces, are corrupt.

I think there’s some level of blowout where they’d flip that switch. Bama’s record isn’t that great this year.

But that level seems pretty unlikely. I’m talking about 4+ scores, not a barely competitive 10 point game.

As a correction, they lost to a terrible FSU team to open the season.

Not a lock for bye with a loss and they already have four teams in.
Yeah, but it's Alabama lol. They will fuck UGA over to help Alabama. UGA is a great SEC program, Alabama is the head of the table.

Who are these clowns calling this game for ABC? Looks like they pulled some random influencer in a fleece jacket out of the crowd 😂

Edit - that was on ESPN, my bad. Looks like Pat Macafees supporting cast, who clearly have zero experience calling a game. Had to switch over to ABC.
