Nothing says ACC tradition like SMU squaring off against Stanford. Catch the Fever!Look at all these moron schools playing in conferences,..........
Yeah I'd bet you'd like that, Mr. Mountain Time. My sleep schedule is still effed up from the Stanford gameND should join the Mountain West and just moonwalk into the playoffs every year.... "Yall said to join a conference"
Your sleep schedule and my liverYeah I'd bet you'd like that, Mr. Mountain Time. My sleep schedule is still effed up from the Stanford game
The Benz holds 71k, Lucas Oil holds 63k. The SEC could play their Championship game in the following non-college stadiums in their footprint (with capacity):Another tough road game for UGA in the stadium that has their colors and is in the urban center where most of there fans live...
We gotta get back to .500 against the huskiesSomeone suggested it last week, let's call UCONN and bring our own trophy. Do it at Metlife.
I assume them both being domes is a factor. But even then there are other domes relatively centrally located in both conference footprints. The Benz holds 71k, Lucas Oil holds 63k. The SEC could play their Championship game in the following non-college stadiums in their footprint (with capacity):
It's been in ATL since 1993. It's no longer geographically central with the addition of all the western teams. Time to spread the love.
- Cotton Bowl in Dallas (92k)
- AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX (80k)
- The Superdome in New Orleans (73,208)
- NRG Stadium in Houston (72,220)
- Legion Field in Birmingham (71,594)
- Nissan Stadium in Nashville (69,143)
- EverBank Stadium in Jacksonville (67,814 [expandable to 82k])
- Alamodome in San Antonio (64k)
- Mississippi Veterans Memorial Stadium in Jackson MS (60,492)
- Camping world Stadium in Orlando (60,219)
The Big 10 and ACC should move it around too.
Trying to recreate the magic of that long lost UTEP/ Notre Dame yearly rivalry,….Yeah I'd bet you'd like that, Mr. Mountain Time. My sleep schedule is still effed up from the Stanford game
Indianapolis, Minneapolis, and Detroit…surely I’m forgetting another dome stadium in B10 country?? Minny and Detroit I’d say are on the outskirts.I assume them both being domes is a factor. But even then there are other domes relatively centrally located in both conference footprints.
I think St Louis still has the Edward Jones Dome sitting around empty. You can see Illinois from there, basically Big 10 country.Indianapolis, Minneapolis, and Detroit…surely I’m forgetting another dome stadium in B10 country?? Minny and Detroit I’d say are on the outskirts.
B10 shares between Chicago and Indy in basketball but obviously Soldier Field being an open stadium wouldn’t be an option in football.
Good point. I suppose with the west coast additions that pretty much now makes B10 country coast to coast.I think St Louis still has the Edward Jones Dome sitting around empty. You can see Illinois from there, basically Big 10 country.
Also, not sure I’d call Detroit on the outskirts of a conference that stretches from metropolitan New York to Southern California.
US Bank Stadium is walking distance from the U of M. If anything it’s too close to a Big 10 school! The Gophers likely won’t see a Big 10 championship game thoughIndianapolis, Minneapolis, and Detroit…surely I’m forgetting another dome stadium in B10 country?? Minny and Detroit I’d say are on the outskirts.

Sickening yet factual sentence. We gotta get back to .500 against the huskies
Lots of discourse about Jimmy World Jr getting it after the Brown’s new dome is completed.Indianapolis, Minneapolis, and Detroit…surely I’m forgetting another dome stadium in B10 country?? Minny and Detroit I’d say are on the outskirts.
