The A&M loss was the worst loss I've seen since following ND (2013 to now), because of the stakes (because it was the second loss) and because we led late at home.
The A&M loss was the worst loss I've seen since following ND (2013 to now), because of course it was the second loss and we led late.
I mean so was NIU but it didn't end up keeping us out of the playoffs. If we are left out, A&M is up there.I think Marshall was pretty bad
The main piece of bad luck was OU beating BamaWtf is the bad luck?
Texas is not jumping us
Vandy is not jumping us
Miami beating Pitt by multiple scores like we did? Handle business tonight and I don’t believe they jump us
Holy bed wetting
Win by 40 is super optimistic but honestly win by a million and I think it’s possible we get jumped because key parts of our resume-the close loss at A&M and the win against Pitt-look significantly worse than they did last week and a lot of teams were being compared to beat better teams that Samford.Honestly, let’s talk about Tuesday. Let’s say we win by 40.
Do you see us dropping?
Do you see us getting passed?
I think it’s realistic to think we stay 9th, with an outside shot of moving to 8th.
I thought they were overrated after beating ND but they had the perfect SEC schedule this season to allow them to continuously dodge the bullet until last night.Only bad luck was that A&M was a paper tiger. Everything else has been favorites taking care of business.
I would love for us to make the playoffs. I think we could go on a run. But that is in retrospect a killer loss.
Nonstop man. Fighting a one man war against Mormons and South Beach cholos.I think you’re tired of it because you’ve been arguing with BYU fans on twitter for the past month.
Why? It’s not changing this year, and everyone understood that it meant more often than not an undeserving team would get the slot.IMO the G5 autobid should be getting more shit than anyone, but everyone loves to hate on ND.
So it will change in the future. It's a joke. Why? It’s not changing this year, and everyone understood that it meant more often than not an undeserving team would get the slot.
People are lobbying against ND because there’s a real chance we get jumped
Yep, if they’re gonna do that, then let’s definitely go to a 16-team field.IMO the G5 autobid should be getting more shit than anyone, but everyone loves to hate on ND.
Would like to see Tulane or North Texas get a hiding in the finals like that Syracuse game the other day.IMO the G5 autobid should be getting more shit than anyone, but everyone loves to hate on ND.
They will be 10th and have just lost?I just don't see how Alabama gets left out if they make it to the SEC championship game. It's anybody's guess, but I don't think the committee is going to punish a team that much for losing the conference championship game
The last spot is gonna come down to ND and Miami (assuming BYU loses), and I have an uneasy feeling about how that's gonna turn out
Nah, 3-loss teams are going to miss the cut, especially one that got its ass kicked against FSU.I just don't see how Alabama gets left out if they make it to the SEC championship game. They won't get left out unless they get destroyed. I don't see any way that happens, though. Bama will beat UGA and Kirby's Bama struggles will continue, IMO.I just don't see how Alabama gets left out if they make it to the SEC championship game. I just don't think it's that simple. I think the committee views championship games as "extra credit" opportunities. Only upside, no downside. Otherwise, teams would be lobbying to not play in the game. Ole Miss and Oklahoma get to just sit home next weekend because of how the tiebreakers worked out. Bama shouldn't get punished for finishing 2nd instead of 3rd or 4thThey will be 10th and have just lost?
Everyone wants to get matched up with a G5 in the playoff. It’s the equivalent to an FCS matchup in comparison to getting an OSU.IMO the G5 autobid should be getting more shit than anyone, but everyone loves to hate on ND.
Last year the losers dropped, they just didn't drop out. We don't know what will happen this year.I just don't think it's that simple.
