Honestly I was shocked as hell we didn't get Bama in South Bend last year.

Figured the committee was salivating over dreams of Bama and ND in their first play off game.

You’re right about drawing power but I was happy they didn’t put a bama team in that lost to Vandy & a .500 OU team. The ESPN talking heads, Cam Newton, & SEC homer butt hurt was the icing on the cake. This year they may get their dream but last year was a good time!

I think a lot of coaches genuinely believe the conference fart smelling to the point that they are genuinely surprised that we are a top 10 team when they play us.

I just think ND is a complete team. Other top ten teams other than OSU anf IU have weaknesses. And IUs depth is going to start to be a problem

Same thing happens with fans. They talk shit until the week of, then they suddenly realize we're a team that basically blows out anyone not in the top ten and wins or plays those top 10 teams very close.
