I agree on the first part. I doubt Faison is going to lay down the kind of 40 time to get drafted, but I enjoy having him at ND.

Beau from last season is also seeing playing time for the Giants. So TEs count? If so I can’t remember a year where we didn’t have one drafted. I think we have 6 or 7 in the NFL now.

I would agree in theory. Although I don't know how much impact it would really make. New user makes 10 or 20 or 30 generic posts in random threads simply saying "agreed" to fulfill their quota and then off they go.

ND has not had a 1K receiver in 6 consecutive seasons

Last one was Claypool in 2019

Prior to that, Fuller, Floyd, Samardzija routinely had 1K+ years. From 2008-2015, the Irish had a 1K+ WR in 7 out of 8 years


Now, they are lucky to have a WR with over 600 yards in a season. The Athletes they are recruiting and brining in as pass catchers have been absolutely awful under freeman.

If they want to win a natty in the next 2 years, with Carr as QB...they need to get much better on the outside.



Kevin Austin, Beaux Collins, Chris Tyree, Greathouse, Faison....these guy would not even be getting snaps in games at Ohio State, Texas, Bama, Georgia, etc.

Ohio State has two 5 Star Freshman as their #4 and #5 WRs. They would not swap a single WR on their team for anything ND trots out there. Faison is a walk-on 1 star WR. Greathouse would struggle to start on most MAC teams. Field and Pauling are bottom tier WRs from hilariously bad programs that no one else wanted.

We like the small setting, and the open oval for football with the kids. Plus, others can park/pay at the adjacent houses and walk right over.

See ya Saturday..come on over and grab a dog. IMO this is a terrible game for a 730 start...would be much more enjoyable at 330 with some daylight
