Game 7 of the WS is always awesome.

It is honestly a pick ‘em game in my book. Scherzer is a HOFer but does he have that one last gem up his sleeve?

Ohtani (another HOFer but not for pitching) will throw hard and typically pitches well. But even if he’s on his best stuff, he’s still only good for 6 innings max.

Scherzer only pitched shitty when he was wearing a Dodgers uniform. He’ll be lights out tonight. Ohtani will leave something over the plate to Springer or Vlad & they’ll go bridge in the 1st inning. Book it.

If the Dodger bats don't wake up, it might not matter. For years I watched the Dodgers grind out at bats in the postseason, it seemed like every hitter was seeing at least 7 or so pitches, every batter was a tough out. I don't know if they've gotten a new hitting coach or what, but they've been pressing all postseason.

However when guys like Muncy, Teo, Betts, etc insist on being dead pull, they end up chasing more times than not & start piling up the Ks. Even Will Smith & Freddie have looked out of sorts so it could get ugly tonight b/c the Blue Jays bats are always grinding & manufacturing baserunners (unless Yoshi is pitching).

He really is. He’s what they term a “professional hitter”. He’s not going to get wrapped up in launch angle, exit velocity, etc. He’s going to get w/ his dad and review his ABs to fix his mechanics. A lot of times you’ll see him let every pitch travel to the point that he has no choice but to hit oppo. I love it.

I disagree with that. Scherzer has been tossing meat for a while. He’s not good anymore and hasn’t been for a while. But he will battle.

Ohtani is tall and pitches north/south. Throws hard too but can’t stay out of the heart of the strike zone. First time around he’s usually good, 2nd time however, he starts getting hit.
