Yeah well we weren't already 0-1. The season, in terms of playoffs, is over if we lose. We're not getting in at 10-2 with zero good wins and losses against the only two good teams we play. They have 30 minutes to decide if they are interested in the playoffs this year.

Yeah and we aren’t beating USC and Arkansas on the road with this defense

1) Carr needs to settle down. Been throwing high a lot. It's his second start so not overly concerned long term but a bit worried in the macro.
2) Iffy play calling but I think that relates to Carr's inexperience.
3) The defense...I don't know. The defense needs to do something. Not enough pressure and our secondary is a shit show outside of Moore. This looks like the defense of an 8-5 or 7-6 team.
4) I was very concerned about the Ash hiring and nothing in the first 6 quarters is relieving me of that. Predictable sets. Predictable blitzes. Awful tackling. A secondary that couldn't cover Prairie View A&M's sixth best receiver.

A lot of negative momentum going into the locker room. Marcus needs to box some ears and get these guys to wake up. An 0-2 start pretty much torpedoes the season.

His short throws against Miami weren't good either. Calm him down by letting it rip.

I think Ash needs to simplify the defense. Fuck it plan man up and rush the passer. You can see in the game plan the dline is holding their lanes and not rushing because they thought Reed was going to run more than he is. I think they need to simplify the coverages in the secondary, attack the QB and blitz bringing 5 or 6 guys

Brian Kelly didnt get fired winning 3 games or whatever it was. ND isnt canning Freeman after a bad season (and this team isnt only winning 3 games under any circumstance)

We had pressure early and had that QB shook. Now we have nothing w/ 4 man rush and he’s stepping up and gashing us.
