I only saw Williams on field once. He was the main blocking back last year.

Totally mind blowing how offense looked lost. Not on Carr though. He didn’t have a lot of options

His baffling playcalling cost us the game. The offense was barely on the field in the first half. The defense can't hold up forever.

If the goal is to protect Carr, why aren't we running the ball more?

Man, the overreactions here are insane. I thought the offense was fine. Sure, there were some bad drives, but he was trying to work Carr in slowly. And it probably worked considering how well he did compared to a lot of other QBs this week. It just sucks that he had to try to have a gameplan to win the game and a gameplan to win the season. We didn't get the first goal, but arguably made good progress on the second.

Someone needs to let him know he has the best RB in the country on his roster and that his backup is pretty good too.

Asking for a friend - how many years experience does it take before you learn how to give the ball to the best RB in the country?

Maybe he know the OL is bad and that is why there was so many terrible short pass calls

I think a lot of those screens everyone seems so mad about were RPOs that Carr chose to pull and throw.
Is that a defense of Denbrock? If he doesn't trust Carr, shouldn't he be telling Carr to hand the ball off rather than let Carr decide what to do?

Maybe, but then we'd have everyone here complaining about how we kept running into a loaded box when he should have just run RPOs

No more fucking screens or 3 yard outs. Take the training wheels off. Also JD was a great change of pace and we never saw him again. Disappointing

How much of not seeing Price or Williams was on Seider?
DMC liked to rotate the guys even when the score wasn't in our favor.

The only issue I have was giving Carr too many plays with an RPO. I don’t mind the RPO calls necessarily, it’s more about the inexperience that Carr had going into the game and having him make split second decisions all game against a good defense.

All in all, a learning experience for Carr. Rather him learn it now then later.

And if we win, how about we ban your ass?
One loss cripples the season one win doesn’t make the season. He calls better plays to help us go to another National Championship game I’ll take the ban for that one 😘

Still waiting for the game where Denbrock shows us why he’s getting paid so much
But he had a Heisman trophy QB once! Who was throwing to Malik Nabers. Sure he didn’t recruit or develop him but he technically coached him.

I wanted to see more J. Love runs than facial expressions. I don't understand why the running game was not apart of the playcalling last night.

3 quarters of pee wee football calls for our highest graded player.

Utter failure of a misread by Denbrock.
