So he is just scheduled an ND unofficial before then and also scheduled an official for after that commit date?

Would love to beat Michigan for another here.

His commitment date is before both his Michigan and ND official visits.

That makes no sense

True but he’s taking a three day visit to ND this weekend. Let’s somewhat count that as an OV.

Glass half full maybe but it still smells odd. Unlimited OVs, why is this an unofficial? Could theorize he commits to Michigan, visits there days later and never makes it to ND again. Not sure it’s either one, just spitballing.

That’s why it’s just odd.

He’s best friends with Tiki Hola. He’s taking a 3 day trip to ND this weekend. Javion is tweeting “WeWantAlister” This guy is all Irish, there’s no doubt

Nothing really ground breaking. They did seem to point out that ND is in the mix for a lot of potential interior guys, while Michigan is still working on landing their first in the class.

For me, this is a good sign for ND. Vallejo seems to want to nab his spot while it's still there. The only team that is currently in a position where spots may not be there soon is ND. Hola is in, and they have Wilder, Almada and Golden all set to visit in June. Musical chairs may be in effect starting next week.

I think Hola is going to be significantly bigger than both of those guys
He's already bigger than Cross and Hinish might have 5lbs on him so it's safe to say he will be bigger than both. He's already taller than both of them.

I think Hinish maxed out at just a shade under 300. But he was also about 6'1, so he wasn't ever going to get much bigger than 300, and even that was pushing it.

Hola apparently is already at or larger than 300.

Hola will probably be 300 by the time he arrives at ND....315 when he leaves

Nothing against Cross but I have higher hopes for Allister Cross was underweight and 6’1, Allister is built like a NFL DT
Most fall in love with measurables and the tantalizing potential it brings, but if Vallejo or Hola have the production anywhere near jr year Cross, they would be homeruns.

It's great they have size, but it means little if they don't produce.

Anything resembling a healthy HC in terms of production would be great. That doesn’t make HC a good comp for Vallejo.

HC was a more technically sound interior DL man with little unnecessary or wasted movement. Vallejo is much more violent at the point of attack and also considerably bigger than HC.

Guys like HC and Kurt Hinish were good players on great defenses. Both great representatives of ND and made the most out of their physical limitations. To me what’s most exciting about Vallejo, is there really aren’t any physical limitations and his ceiling is incredibly high. Whether that comes to be or not is another story, but that’s what makes recruiting intriguing.

Some of us hate 3 stars. But the love for him is rather unanimous and he is so violent

We don’t know if there are physical limitations or not until he shows up on campus. Darnell Ewell looked like he didn’t have any physical limitations when he committed.

Not sure I agree with that. Dude was strong as a bull but had zero side to side athleticism and was not in the same planet as Vallejo in terms of hand usage and violence.
