I have my cube hardwired to that particular router so there should be no signal issue. From what I have read 4K requires around 25MB and the cube is capped at about 120MB so there should be plenty of bandwidth. Have you tried any 4K live content on Peacock? It‘s only the live content that I have a problem with……if it is a series, movies, etc……no issue.
Hmmm gets more interesting now. Have you tried swapping out different cables. Being hard-lined should have no issues. I've never had any issues with 4k content. Watched Oppenheimer countless times and never was saw any stuttering or buffering

I watched Oppenheimer as well, no issues. It was only the live stream. Cat6 on the Ethernet cable and the HDMI cables are all 8K compliant. Everything is routed through an 8K compatible Denon receiver on this particular set up. I think I just have some Peacock gremlins hanging around the TV when the live events come on. I watched the ND game via Peacock last year but I don’t think it was broadcast in 4K (could be wrong about that), no issues. Luck of the Irish?

Is that cable awesome?

Also, the router may not be designed for wired.
Is that cable awesome? I can try the wifi since I have it set as the back up network on my cube I’m not sure why the router wouldn’t be designed for hardwire……..

I don't think the ND game was in 4k but I could be incorrect. I'm trying to think if I've watched any live 4k content. But besides the ND stuff, I honestly don't watch much live content on there

Maybe try clearing out the app data for peacock? I do reset mine periodically mostly after system updates. I'm a bit paranoid about how updates that get auto pushed out works. I'm the person that won't update my pc but I'll completely reimage it twice a year to make sure it's up to date. So take that with a grain of salt

I can’t remember if I cleared the data and cache before the SB but I’ll try that before I watch the next 4K live event.

the quality of the cable you use to hardwire matters.
Understood……I’m using a CAT6 Ethernet cable and it’s high quality (not direct burial but still high quality). The cable length is only 3 feet since the router is very close to the cube.

Cable for such a short length shouldn't matter tbh. Cat5 is capable of gig speeds at short lengths so I doubt it's the cable unless it's just defective

Apparently they don't expect a lot of interest for 'Cuse in late November......I wonder why?

on paper a much better home slate then has been. These prices still suck. A season ticket in the upper end runs you $172 per game.

why are they charging $250 plus in lower parts for games like Purdue when that game in particular is going to be over by halftime probably

Games in the early part of the season have higher demand for folks looking to make their annual trip since the weather will be more tolerable. If it was a November game it would be in line with Navy and Cuse.

When do single season tickets go on sale? I need to get 3 for Boise State. Wife and I are taking son on college visit over his fall break.

Not gonna lie, hearing Prister talk about the QB competition being reflective of the fact that Notre Dame is competing for National Championships fired me up.

I've noticed the same on several of the podcasts the guys on the beat do. Seems like the consensus that this roster is no doubt about it playoff caliber.

Of course we need to replace several studs but the blow softens when you're replacing that guy with bluechip talent.

Can you remember leaving spring struggling to find a position you knew wasn't clearly championship caliber?

Used to love these as a kid. Now w/ the help of YouTube, we can re-watch them. It was definitely made for family viewing as Bob Hope’s jokes were about as corny as one can get but I’d be interesting to see if ESPN/ABC or FOX could bring this back & honor the AA team. This is a great one b/c it includes 3 popular Domers from the Holtz era. Of course, the TE from BYU had a wedding ring…LOL

These AA teams use to play the NFL champion at Soldiers Field. Even with it being the best of college football, I think they only beat the champ once or twice. Shows the talent disparity.
