It could massively backfire and result in a bunch of kids who will just go to the highest bidder, but maybe instead it does uncover some guys who need/want the little bit of cash but can still be convinced to make the better long term decision when it comes time to actually choose a school.

But you can't be sure its all of them. Maybe there are some letting parents/handlers do all this stuff, but the kid still gets to make the decision at the end. Or some that want the money, but won't just go to the highest bidder because they are getting money from whatever school they choose.

That's why I said it would be interesting, because we just can't actually know without trying.

There’s always the possibility they’re using the cash to pay for expenses on the visit that they otherwise couldn’t afford.
