I haven't said a word about Merck. He's the same solid dude here as he is on II from what I've read on his thread.

This guy has the same bad take as all of the info whiners on Irish Illustrated whose hearts Loy broke.... but he's "not a member".

It's a bad take and he wants to talk me out of it. So we're going to debate that till he stops trying.

On one hand, you want to argue that I'm not a member of the 247 board so how would I know what Loy posts and/or have a take on it.

To address that, the things Loy posts end up aggregated all over the internet. It's not tough to track down what he said and take issue with the accuracy of it......

If at the end of the day, your issue is that I'm not a member at 247, Ok. So be it. However, your logic completely falls apart at the next step.....

When it's pointed out that even members at 247 are taking issue with Loy, those members are then just referred to as "wrong" or "babies" or..whatever the heck else. So it appears at that point the issue isn't being a member at 247, because even if the members take the same position I have, they are told they are "wrong."

So why would being a member matter if you just disagree with the premise? Hell, Loy left because the members became so abrasive making the same point(s) I did.

I used to like the new guy, Trevor. He was better when he first started. I guess he was called to the principal’s office as be now pretty much agrees with and mimics Driskell’s takes.

Yeah, I'm no fan of Loy the person. Met him in person, unimpressive off the cuff about recruiting.

But the fact remains, he's gonna hear stuff before anyone else at Irish Illustrated about regional/national kids the same as Biggins, Huffman, Angulo, Dohn, Roach, Anna do and now we may or may not get that info AND we lost a direct Q&A thread where he was sharing his thoughts.

Has he been horribly wrong before? Many times. Is he been cringe at times? Ditto.

I’ll say. I think it’s odd you have such an opinion of Loy even though you consume almost none of his content, allegedly.

Also this above I quoted is just not true. A handful of posters. Let’s say 15 at most are extremely rude horrible interactions and caused the exodus. The overwhelming majority did not want Loy to leave. II has thousands of members. I can assure you thousands of posters did not voice issue with Loy. Hundreds voiced issue with him leaving. About 10 ruined it for everyone.

In the end, Loy got his info from within ND. It’s probably one of the crazier “shoot the messenger” things I’ve seen. If you think the info is consistently wrong, well then ND has it wrong, not the mouthpiece.

If you wanna go full insider and start predicting future commitments and not old stories here better than Loy, by all means go for it.

My issue with you is that you believe less info & access is somehow better in a pay for info business model. That remains a horrible take.

You arrived at this take because you've heard 247 members are taking issue with him, Since you "aren't a member", I don't need you to tell me I'm wrong and 20 or so whiners are right. The vast majority of 247 members and especially the 5 or so guys who really get recruiting liked access to Loy's info in house and the 2 way access we still had w/ him. When I want to know what he's hearing about Simeon's Brian DeMoss, I like to be able to ask him in a public forum.

So why did it go south? He started reporting a lot of intel on SC. So he's tight with Chad... Duh & WGAF? So he horribly botched Dante Moore and Deuce Knight. who cares. I had no illusions they were coming when it mattered. His intel is historically correct at an 80%+ clip, I don't need to be spoon-fed 100% correct intel, I just need to find crumbs. I agree that his Dante interview was regrettable. His intel on DM was not more inaccurate than any other site, however.

His work at II got him a national promotion and it was not due to him giving inaccurate info. He was one of the best while working on II.
