Disagree thats a bad take. I'm a member there and it's clear that Loys only ND source was Bowden. Now that he's at USC, his well has dried up and he has no utility for ND fans anymore.

Not the point about info. Info from other places is how you get the full picture of ND's situation.

The last couple months have been great here.

I couldn’t tell you the last time II put out a piece that was worth a subscription.

That was one of two primary complaints re: Loy. Yes. His information sucked and has sucked for years.

It was either wrong or for the most part pretty useless and you could get better information for free on Twitter.

I disagree. I've been an II member for years and I think Loy did an excellent job with intel more correct than most other ND sites. That probably explains the reason for his promotion. I haven't seen any incorrect intel from him at II unless I missed something. Can you be more specific as to what intel was incorrect? By the way, I miss the ask Tom thread on II

I’m not sure why people are mad. This isn’t even the first time this has happened with Clemson.

People are upset because ND is again missing on its WR targets. Last year was awful and, with the loss of these two to Clemson, this year might be just as bad. Brown is blamed and maybe rightfully so. However, I wonder how much ND's reluctance to pay going rates for WR recruits has to do with this.

I mean.. A LOT of it and I'm not going to go back through every story he wrote or every post he made if they were presented...but the most glaring single example of it would be his entire Dante Moore interview that was essentially...100% false.

If 247 had the same model as Rivals and On3, I'd let mine lapse for good. As it is, I only re-up when it's 70% off and I never paid until Covid, don't need to if you know how to use Google, Twitter, IG, cherry pick non-VIP bread crumbs and of course... just read the crowd sourced intel on IE.

But 247's value prop is the access to Biggins, Huffman, Trieu, Angula, Dohn, Roach + whatever non-VIP, team site intel you can glean.

If Eric Thomas can be more pro-active and less re-active, the intel will flow. The new guy's a dolt. I've followed him for years and he has zero eye for physical talent and doesn't understand how to identify intangibles that mean something in ND recruiting news. Like not mentioning T Mosley was a double legacy, not mentioning WHO his parents were or that he had an older bros at Stanford or a younger bros who will blow up this year.

Losing Loy has been rough but the Tim's and Brice have grown on me. Plus, they waste too much space with ND's other sports for my liking. Put that stuff in another forum.

I agree about IE coming back strong. I'm trying to get back to my old ways here. Just very busy in the physical world at this time and the site kicks me off of my phone too often and I can't log back in unless I'm on my desktop where I have acceess to my old personal email address.
